"The property was in a great location. The check in process was easy etc. What wasn't clear on the ad was there are windows without furnishings that mean the sun streams into the bedrooms unblocked. Also, the light from the living room shines unblocked into one of the bedrooms. Not ideal for anyone who doesn't all go to bed at the same time. "

"The property at Broulee was well located, a quick walk to a very beautiful beach. The house contained all amenities required for a restful stay, and was comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. Cleanliness was an issue. The bathroom shower and floor need a good scrub. The oven tray was dirty, and covered with blackened food scraps, and the crockery required washing before use. The upholstery was marked, the coffee tables covered in glass rings, and some of the curtains and blinds need repair. I did not notice in our initial view of information on the property that we only had access to the top floor and would be sharing the address with others, although this was not an inconvenience at the time. Access was up a very steep flight of stairs, and this may have impacted our decision to stay had we realised when booking. Despite the issues listed above, we had a very relaxing few days, directly opposite a beautiful beach (although the water cannot be seen from the house due to the vegetation wind barrier). "

"My son and I stayed here for three nights recently. The property was clean and well appointed, with all the facilities you need for a short stay. The location is superb being only a short stroll across the dunes to South Broulee beach. I would definitely recommend this property for a holiday with the family."

"Rain on a canvas roof beats tin any day. Due to weather swimming at this pretty beach was a miss but Pool was such a lovely substitute. Staff really helpful & efficient"

"Overall the house was clean and bathrooms have been refurbished, but the house is VERY old and there is a pungent smell of wet wood in it. Not worth the cost. Would not stay there again."
