"Excellent hotel all round. Lovely helpful staff, clean room and great eating, drinking and relaxing areas. Only downside was not many parking spaces but the hotel was wonderful."

"Our stay with you was spectacular. All the staff we talked to or came into contact with were exceptional, well done it felt great. There was a lady who managed the bar (I missed her name but she's a 6'2" runner from Oldham) and she was absolutely awesome. Hotel restaurant and bar were fantastic, one of the best meals I've ever had the wellington Surf and Turf. The bar was relaxing and had a wonderful female jazz singer on the night we were in there, also seemingly meticulously picked for the room and atmosphere. Perfect location for the York Xmas markets which were also fantastic on a fairly rainy day."
