Blue Seas Direct
Apartments at Blue Seas Resort is a collection of units managed independently from the main reception. This means there is no check in at reception, rather the key is in a key safe on balcony outside the room, where you enter a 5 digit code provided via email from the manager. Any issues we had were quickly rectified by contacting Trefor on 0403 056 405. Blue Seas is my top pick for value at Cable Beach. Complex is exceptionally clean, and rooms are good, with a kitchen and laundry. We appreciated being allocated a ground floor unit as per our request. It is worth exploring the rates on offer via Apartments at Blue Seas Resort before booking here.

This is a confusing listing. The front desk of the resort cannot help you if you stay at Apartments at Blue Seas Resort because the owner of this apartment is separate from the Blue Seas Resort. If anything should go wrong, you have to email him - he's in Perth. It does not have a telephone. No one is based locally if something happens with key collection (it's a box by the door). Communication was poor because 1) I didn't find out it's separate from the resort until after I landed from the first leg of my flight in Perth. I received a text. It had instructions to open the box to get the keys out of the box. I landed at night; the apartment isn't lit well to see the numbers (which are smudged even in daylight). 2) Free internet access is only 5Gb over 2 weeks. You pay for any more data. So you think you're booking at a resort and most resorts give free unlimited wifi but the owner thinks you should use your own data. 3) Transportation to the apartments wasn't obvious. The friend I visited collected me from the airport and took me to the address. 4) It's not very close to the city centre, but it was close to the beach. The front desk of the resort is very friendly. The price difference is not worth it (maybe $10-20?) given there's no back up if something goes amiss (electricity/plumbing issues, wifi down, access to key, etc). That said, I went in low season so he was accommodating and extended my checkout time. It's clean, safe, comfortable and well appointed.

Hi Karen, I’m a little confused about your comments. When you made your booking online there is a section called “Special check-in instructions” that details how to check in. You made the reservation 9 days prior to arrival and 30min after your reservation we sent you an email explaining the access to the apartment. We explained that you would be dealing directly with the owner and not the on-site manager that other owners use to manage their apartments. Detailed in the information we send to all guests (including yourself on accepting your booking) is the following: NOTE: We do NOT have a reception (it's used by another company that is not associated with us), you are dealing directly with the owner of the apartment, so please read the attached instructions carefully or call us if you have any concerns as we are not available onsite to assist you. And “If this is not what you had expected and wish to cancel in preference to a resort where you can use the reception, please let us know within 24hrs of making the booking and we will happily offer you a cancellation without penalty.” The emailed information also let you know that if you are arriving after dark you may need a torch or your phone to see the keypad for the apartment key. The email we sent you has our phone number, the email had two attachments both have our email, website address, phone number and we are in WhatsApp. We sent you another email prior to arrival and again with all the contact details. We sent you a text message with contact and website details prior to arrival. The apartment itself does not have a phone (this is detailed in the information we sent you). We do check with our guests that they have a mobile phone (as we did with you) and for the very few guests that do not supply us a mobile phone number we let them know what other options may be available like WhatApp, SMS or email. I’m not sure why you would say communication was poor when we exchanged communication via email (more than 20 of them), phone calls and text messages. With regard to Wi-Fi, you used a little over 15GB of data and you were not charged. Most resorts in Broome have a single internet connection for the entire resort, so while it may be free and unlimited, it may not always be reliable and/or fast. We supply our guests a dedicated connection per apartment, but we do ask that you give us advanced notice (if possible) so we can make sure it’s ready and charged up before your arrival. Transportation was detailed in the emails we sent you, we supply a list of options that include: names, websites and phone numbers. When guests arrive in Broome, there are taxi, shuttle buses and hire car companies all within 50m of the terminal. Broome townsite is where the airport is located and has a number of hotels and resorts if your preference is to be near the town. Cable Beach (the suburb) is where most of the resorts and hotels are located and walking distance to the famous Cable Beach. Cable Beach is

Blue Seas & Blue skies
Blue Seas is our favourite place to stay in Broome. The apartments are spacious and clean with everything you need in a self contained apartment. The Manager supplied all the information needed for an easy and hassle free check-in. Also plenty of local information provided. The apartments are within a short walk to the pristine Cable Beach, several restaurants and bars and the town bus route. A good value property.

The owners were very receptive and responded to communications quickly. The Apartment was pleasingly set out and had every thing that we needed. It is located within easy walking distance to surrounding eateries and the beach. The bus stops outside the entrance to the resort.

Self sufficient. Pool was nicely shaded and right outside my room. Would only recommend a small gate at the top of stairs to keep little kids in the balcony area so parents can relax a bit when sitting outside.

I enjoyed the complex itself fter making another booking with Blue Seas Resort, however my original booking with Apartments at Blue Seas Resort was a debacle as per your case number 70787855. I was literally left in a situation of having no accommodation upon arrival. I have been promised a refund on this booking, but have still not received i. You were instructed by the booking "manager" to refund me for the reasons stated concerning the above case number 70787855.

Hi Mary, I didn't get any feedback from Expedia and your comments appear to be directed to Expedia not us. We did offer to waive the cancel fee if you wanted to cancel because you said you didn't like the wording on the booking. The booking details were emailed to you three week before arrival, so it wasn't clear to us why it was an issue on arrival. I'm not sure why you said there was no accommodation on arrival, your apartment was available and you asked if we would hold it for you until you canceled the booking which we did. It appears you didn't contact Expedia to cancel the booking, so the accommodation was held for you at your request. We did call Expedia and they did try and call you multiple times as did we, but you didn't return calls. Trefor

This was a spacious one bedroom unit, including washing machine and dryer, full size fridge, and plenty of fans to help with the heat, along with the air conditioner. One small issue with tv, but owner organiser replacement the next morning, can’t complain about service. Would stay again if in the area.

Well appointed apartment close to Cable Beach.We really enjoyed our stay. Lovely outlook from the apartment, great pool and barbecue area which was cleaned daily. Free onsite parking.Owner was great to deal with. Answered calls and emails and provided local info re restaurants etc.

Room good and pool just outside. Lounge area good but t.v. Location not so and not visible from bedroom!,! Upstairs guests noise and plumbing noise from same. Parking not adequate when all apartment s are full.

Comfortable resort close to the Cable beach
It was the off season so we basically had the resort to ourselves. Good layout of the resort with two areas located around the pools. The pool had a spa, young kids section and main area. The location was walking distancr from the beach, resturants and camel rides. Apartment was well equipped.

Hi Bob, Many thanks for your feedback about the Expedia website. I'm currently working with Expedia to see what they can do to clarify what we offer. Per the email I sent you about our Wi-Fi: "If requested, we offer the first 3 days or 1GB whichever comes first for free, if you wish to have a larger download or a longer period, please let us know in advance so we can arrange this for you. As this is a pre-paid service we don’t enable it unless requested by the guest (even for the FREE component)." There is similar details in the second email I sent you on how to connect to our Wi-Fi. As discussed when you called on day 2 of your stay, the first and FREE 1GB had been used up and you confirmed it had been working ok until your wife watched a movie on her iPad. I asked if you wanted an additional data allowance and you declined. Our suggested text to Expedia was: Book a stay in any room type and receive your first 1 MB of Wi-Fi access over 3 days FREE. Unlimited access and download is available at additional cost. We hope Expedia accept our suggestion and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Trefor

Great location, facilities had everything needed.
Facilities clean and comfortable, and well fitted out. Linen soaps, etc all provided were good quality and included washing powder! Good location near Cable Beach. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect small family stay.
The apartment was clean and well presented and it was the perfect set up for our little family. Everything was in good working order and we found it was well equipped. Also very roomy. I would recommend this unit to people with a small child as there was ample room in the bedroom for a cot and the doors were close-able. This was important for us and was one of the main reasons for choosing your unit. We could put our little one to bed and still function in the main area without too much light getting through. The personal emails from the owner was also a nice touch. Great to know they acre about what you think and are willing to help if you need.

Our Stay at Blue Seas Resort
Our stay at Blue Seas Resort was amazing. The apartment was lovely and clean and very well equipped. The pool and spa area and surroundings were well kept and the location was perfect. It was a short walk to Cable Beach and as there is also a bus stop right outside the resort, transport all around Broome was so easy. We would stay there again and would easily recommend Blue Seas to our friends travelling to Broome.

Lovely relaxing stay
When we arrived first we had some troubles checking in due to a very unfriendly and discriminating manager at the reception (i booked the hotel but he wouldn't respond to me, only to my boyfriend) who didn't want to give us the number of the other manager. Once we finally got the number after calling wotif customer service, we got it all sorted and the manager Trevor was extremely nice and really helpful. The apartment has a quite old style but was so nice to stay, very spacious and everything there you need. We had all in all a great stay and even booked in for longer.

Great location
The apartments are basic and a little outdated with décor but in a great location. There are a few pools for each block of units so although not large pools it's ok. The restaurants aren't too far of a walk and Cable Beach is just down the road. Awesome location for the price. I'd recommend only a couple staying however as the units are only one bedroom and quite compact.
Hi, you may not have been aware that our apartments come with a queen bed and 2 x sofa-beds, so it sleeps 4 and is ideal for a family holiday. Glad you enjoyed and found value in the location of our apartments.

Blue Seas Resort.
Blue seas resort close to all amenities. Short walk to everything including bus stop in to town and markets. Easy to deal with.
