"I'm not into rating or reviews, but I must bring to attention a couple of things. Let me first point out that during check in the staff was very helpful and courteous. The young man behind the desk explained everything clearly, including the renovations that the hotel was going thru. The room was flawless. Clean and comfortable. The two things I want to point out is one, around 8:45 am housekeeping entered the room. Not a huge problem, but something that should be addressed. Especially if check out time is 11am. The second incident was a bit more. After leaving, a couple blocks away my girlfriend realized that she thought she left her small purse in the room. We returned and told the young lady behind the front desk, and she escorted us to the room in which we retrieved the purse, but as she passed us and we thanked her I clearly heard her say, this is f-ing bulls**t. I don't know or understand where that came considering that the checkout went as smooth as the checking. I'm not going to get into detail about what should happen or steps that should be taken, but it is another issue that should be addressed. I would like to also say that this incident will not change my mind in the future about staying at this hotel. It's a great hotel with reasonable prices. It wasn't my first stay and it surely won't be my last. Thank you."

"Positives: Great communication with owner, nice location, quiet neighborhood, plenty of space, ceiling fans, small fridge & microwave. Paper plates & plastic utensils, good lighting inside, large comfortable bed (just watch out for the corners of the low platform on which the bed sits), and clean towels and linens. Off street parking available.Negatives: Poor nighttime lighting on the walk from the driveway around the side of the house in order to reach the door in back. (A motion light came on once I was near the steps leading up to the door in the back of the house.) That's a safety issue because there are holes in the deck on the side of the house that I did not see until the next morning, one large enough to put a foot through. Luckily, in the dark, my feet did not find them.The railings leading to the upper deck where the door is located are very splintery. Do not use them.The rooms were stuffy when I came in on the second day, which had been a very warm one. I did not find controls for the A/C that was in the listing and I could not open the dirty windows to let in fresh air. Overall, MANY LITTLE THINGS that could easily be improved in order for me to give a higher rating. I am not listing them all here with the hope that the owner will address the issues (I sent him a letter with the details.)There is no light switch on the wall inside the door when entering. There's a motion detecting light switch on the opposite side from the entry door."

"This is a fabulous hotel with an amazing staff! It's also a very reasonable deal. I'd like to thank Samantha, Clarence, Carlos, Marcus, Alari (I'm spelling it wrong sorry girl) the housekeeping staff and the very young man with short curls who checked me in. These people were incredible in many ways but they really rose above and beyond to help my disable me so much. Truly appreciated. Great for disabled folks, great place to bring a dog, for smokers they have two out of the way excellent outdoor smoking areas (non-smokers: you will not have to deal with smoke), and the pool area is very nice."

"The toilet flush was as loud as a supersonic jet piercing my eardrums. The toilet also sprayed the room while flushing. This spreads whatever was in the toilet everywhere. I am used to hotel rooms having support for USB devices. There were 0 USB ports. Parking was 5 flights up and down a twisty-turning parking garage. Parking is reasonable at $1.25 per hour, but a hassle. The hotel restaurant was delicious and had a great variety of food. It was understaffed, and the food took an extra long time to arrive."
