We chose this hotel due to it's location 3 blocks from the DC Metro station. It was an easy walk to catch the train. We always felt safe in the area, and touring Washington using the Metro turned out to be a very good decision. Our car never had to leave the parking lot during our 3 night stay. Keep in mind the parking cost extra, but it saved us from paying to park at the Metro station. The hotel staff was amazing, answering logistical questions by phone even before we arrived. The breakfast was an extra cost, but it was excellent and worth it to get the day started. We will be staying here again next time in DC.

No dresser and a tiny closet. Had to hook up the tv myself. Nowhere to put luggage. Could not control air conditioning-room was cold. Bed was comfortable. Had small fridge and keurig. Ok for a few days, but not long term.

Stayed for one night and had a great stay! Check-in was quick and easy because I prepaid with Expedia, and the hotel desk staff were friendly! The bed linens and towels were clean, and the room was very modern and had exercise equipment, which my gf and I thought was a nice touch! I am an MD local and just wanted to get away for a night, and I LOVED the location on Rockville Pike, getting to get breakfast at one of my favorite spots by just walking across the parking lot (though it is about 30 mins-1hr out from DC depending on traffic). The hotel itself was nice, and the gym was beautiful even though I didn’t get to use it! My only complaint is that the bathroom, specifically the shower, could use a deep clean on the walls and around the soap dispenser, but otherwise it was a clean and pleasant stay!

This hotel isn’t a frills and thrills sort of hotel. The rooms aren’t beautiful but they’re clean and comfortable. As place I stay once a week while traveling that’s all I need. Where the frustrations come is how often there are problems checking in. Something with the reservation or the payment or physical ID. Even in checkout there is sometimes issues. If it were only one thing it would be something to avoid the next time but it’s too often something new.
