Nestled between the Schlei fjord and the Baltic Sea, you'll find yourself on a large property with mature trees. The house "Sommerby" offers two vacation apartments. The "Sommerby Sky" apartment is located on the upper floor and provides approximately 70 square meters of living space for up to three people. The park-like garden offers plenty of room to roam, beautiful sunsets, and mature fruit trees.
The bright apartment is furnished in a modern country style. Thanks to the open-plan design leading to the spacious living area with a flat-screen TV, you can enjoy spending time together in a comfortable atmosphere. The modern shower room is equipped with a vanity mirror and a hairdryer.
For a restful night's sleep, there are three sleeping options: a bedroom with a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm) for two people and another bedroom with a comfortable single bed (140 x 200 cm).
On the second floor, you'll find a small study with a desk – ideal for focused work or creative moments. From October 2024, a washing machine and dryer will be available on the ground floor, shared with the apartment below.
Also from October, a parking space with an 11 kW electric vehicle charging station will be available for your car, allowing you to conveniently charge your electric vehicle on-site. The spacious back garden is shared with the apartment below, "Sommerby Garden." A trampoline is also available there.
Enjoy a magnificent sunset at the end of the day. Feel free to help yourself to the fruit from the old fruit trees. Our apartment is the perfect retreat for a relaxing beach holiday or a starting point for wonderful bike tours through the beautiful Schwansen countryside.
The Baltic Sea is approximately 4.5 km away. You can reach the beach by car in ten minutes. The route to Weidefelder or Schönhagener Strand (cliff coast) leads through the fields by the sea and is an experience in itself. The Weidefelder Strand beach, about 4 km away and free of tourist tax, has been known for its excellent bathing water quality for many years. It offers a wide stretch of white sand behind unspoiled fields, a beach restaurant, a surf school, and lifeguard services provided by the German Lifesaving Association (DLRG).
Excursions to the Geltinger Birk nature reserve, Maasholm, nearby Arnis, Kappeln, or Sieseby are recommended at any time of year. Glücksburg Castle, with its old orangery and new restaurant, and Gottorf Castle Museum in Schleswig can be reached by car in about 40 minutes.
Please note that this holiday apartment is not available for commercial rentals.
