"The place was very nice & clean. Our only complaints would be there was only one window air conditioner in one of the rooms upstairs and it got very hot. Even keeping the door open didn’t help cool it down. Also the one bed/mattress was on the floor. It was very hard to get in and out of since it’s a memory foam and it’s just laying on the floor. We had a great time in Des Moines and over all the place was adequate."

"We took a shower in the basement bathroom and the drain didn't work. Another person showered in the bathroom upstairs and water came up from the basement shower and flooded the basement bathroom with stinky water. We left and booked a hotel. The host hasn't provided a refund. Cracks (with gaps) in the living room window. DO NOT STAY HERE! "

"Signs that said charges for missing key fob, remote, or parking pass, but none of those three were available! We never were provided a remote for the TV during our entire stay. Told to download an app to watch television? We were also told that it would sleep nine people, but there was only three small stools at the kitchen table and only three places for people to sit in the large living room? We felt like more seating should be available for a house that size. Smoke alarm beeping because it needed a new batteries and also fell off of ceiling. Breakers blue a couple times. A whiskey bottle lid and a beer can half full or under the basement bed. When we arrived, there was an open window in the kitchen. No window coverings on basement bedroom window. Coffee pot was available, but would only work on the cleaning cycle? Shower curtain too short and allowing water to flood the basement bathroom. Beds were comfortable and clean and nice, Lots of hot water, and pressure with clean towels! Overall summarization was, for the price we paid…. We were a little disappointed."
