This spacious 2 BR loft is full of character and charm! Our Bordertown Loft is located in the heart of downtown Bristol VA/TN. Come relax, rest & renew, then discover our great downtown. Downtown Bristol is a vibrant place with lots of local restaurants, craft breweries, coffee shops, music venues & shopping. The coolest thing is that your loft is located above our ice cream and candy shop. Where we make the best homemade fudge EVER! Stop in for a free sample. Come let us pamper you!

This loft has a private entrance. Loft entrance is in the rear of the property. We have a dedicated parking lot and loft entrance is up the back wooden steps.

Other things to note
Our loft is located on the second floor. Only 26 steps up to the Bordertown Loft.

During warmer weather months, there several live music events, so there is a potential for noise. However, there is a city ordinance that all music must end at 11pm.

This building is over 100 years old and we have beautifully restored it. You will find lots of charm with a modern flair! We have very high cleaning standards, but you may find the naturally occurring brick dust occasionally. In the loft you will find exposed ceiling beams and lots of character throughout.

We have several fitness centers nearby that offer daily rates.

We have a 3 night minimum for race weeks and 2 nights for Rhythm & Roots music festival. We use AirBnB Smart Pricing and rates increase during peak times such as Rhythm & Roots Reunion and the 2 NASCAR race events throughout the year.

Fish Camp ‘25

Great spot for us to stay while fishing. Love the adaptive reuse of the old building and leaving all the brick and rafters exposed makes for a really cool space. Will def stay again.

Amazing place

This place looked even better in person than in pictures. Was just there for Valentine’s weekend and we had a great time. Food around was very good and the shops on State St were fun to walk around. We will be back again no question.

Back in Bristol

We love visiting Bristol!Hiking, fishing, walking down town, checking out the comedy club, Borderline Billards and a little time at the casino.The condo was amazing with a State Street walking availability to almost everywhere. We had space, privacy and everything that was needed "in case we forgot something" with other extras that made it extra special.Karen left a note with a personal message that made the weekend even more special. Communication was easy and filled with information about restaurants, activities and special locations to see and investigate. We kept busy!We will be back. Thanks for a great weekend

Great Stay, Generous Host!

We absolutely loved our stay in the quaint downtown Bristol. Our line dance team was hired for Country Thunder Bristol, and wanted to stay in downtown Bristol. The loft was amazing, and a great place to stay. Karen was very communicative and her rental was stocked with so many accommodations. Would 100/10 recommend staying here!

Karen was very helpful with our stay as we had to move it back a week due to weather. The place was very nice and clean. We had a personalized welcome basket waiting on us and plenty of information of what there was to do in town. There was also snacks, coffee, and things to use for cooking. This was nice bc as you know it can be aggravating buying stuff for just a few days somewhere. All in all, it was a great stay at a great place. Highly recommend.

Barter Theatre and Billard Trip

Incredible loft. Spacious. Clean. Beautiful. Host has anticipated every need from extra towels, to blankets to cuddle up with, games to play, and coffee to drink on the deck. There was even an adorable bunny coffee cup ( it was Easter weekend) to set the tone. Also, so many great restaurants in the area and things to do. Took a trip to the casino and visited several mills ( lots of history here). Saw a great play at Barter in nearby Abingdon and came in 4th in pool tournament. This was one of the best vacations I have ever taken. Highly recommend.

Reunion

Stayed at the loft with my best friend from high school for our 40th HS reunion. The place was amazing! Walking distance to all our venues and everything imaginable was available for our needs at the loft. Karen made sure you won’t need for anything. Next time I’m in Bristol I will be staying here. Thank you Karen for providing everything for my amazing weekend! :-)

Would book again in heart beat

One of the best prepared VRBOs we have stayed in. Everything stocked with even extras you would not expect. If we ever need to stay even near Bristol again we would book here and be disappointed if someone else beat us to it. Only thing to be aware of is you are right on top of downtown. Great to walk and explore what etc unit can be a little loud at.night. The box fan in the closet provided the perfect amount of white noise for us and no real issue with A good nights sleep. Book without a hesitation. It’s a fantastically well run VRBO!

Five Star Plus

If I could give more than five stars I would. The loft was beautiful and the hostess had everything you could possibly want. The town of Bristol was also very nice and the shops downtown had a little something for every taste. Will definitely be staying again. We attended the NASCAR races and the location was perfect we were back to the loft within 20 minutes once race was complete.

This place is amazing.

Pictures are spot on. Place was so clean and beautiful. We could have just brought our clothes. Fully equiped with anything we needed and then some. Just walk down the stairs to shops, food and drinks. Everyone was wonderful. Might have to visit here again.
