Good location, but very dirty. Blood-stained bed linen.
Location is ok. Beds too small, curtains broken to the point they would not draw. Could do with an amenities book, never did find out where the gym was, had to guess the pool was on top floor. Better options on Southbank.
The apartment was clean, good location and generally good value.
Biggest issue was the parking. The ad clearly says 'Free Parking', however when I went to check in I was told no Parking was included. The nearest Parking Station that did overnight parking was SW1 which was a 1 km walk and cost $20 / night.
Extraordinary! Nothing "homely" about it. Top class. the view from the level 22 eternity pool is simply stunning...both by day and night! We will be coming again

Really great position, so close to everything. Great gym and amazing pool! Clean and modern. Could have supplied more amenities like bath mats, hand towels and pool towels. Also sheets were too small for the beds. But other than those small fixable issues we had a great time and loved it here!

Unprofessional Management and communication.
No prior communications; re pick up key off site (took my husband 1 1/2 hrs to walk to 3 incorrect addresses given for key pick up on the day) we had no car.
It took him 3 to 4 phone calls and a couple of emails to find the key, as incorrect information was given on the day.
The management is incompetent and unprofessional. I left a pair of white pants there on the bed and have been chasing them for 3 days.
Daniel is the contact after check out, he told me his cleaners did not see them, via email. End of story, he won’t even answer his phone or emails. Not interested.
There was also another family staying at the same apartments, who had the same issues.
Needs to review key pickup & return process, not very good having to find parking in the key transfer process, particularly if you are not familiar with Brisbane.

Disappointing
Really not as shown in photos, even location is different. Pool much smaller than indicated and overall a disappointing apartment block.
The short story is to stay away unless you’re happy to pay top dollar for rooms more dirty than any backpacker hostel and with a total lack of professionalism.
Booked the room through Hotels.com, the photos looked great and the rating was good (did not at the time see that there were only 3 review which of in hindsight 2 most likely written in the owners interest).
Have used Hotels.com for all private bookings for more than 10 year and the hotels/ apartments have always been as advertised until this encounter!
The room given to us was very dirty and smelled. Have never seen so dirty floorboards before. Stains all over the carpet and sofa. Breadcrumbs on bench top, which was also so dirty that the tablecloth got completely discolored by just dragging it over the top. Used food in pantry and freezer. Non functioning dishwasher with the worst smell. And the list goes on. We checked out within 10 minutes.
Complained but got no refund at all, had to pay for the full week that was booked.
Hope Hotels.com either removes this apartment/hotel from its site, or that it gets marked down to 1 star. It’s also worth taking note of that there is no automatic remainder to give feedback on the establishment. One has to look hard to find out how to give feedback. On our way out we meeet another couple staying in a another apartment, they where also disappointed.
Cleaners are letting you down which is such a shame as it's a great spot and lovely apartment

Unsatisfactory
Cons: Had to clean out the drain trap in the bathroom because it began to flood the first time we used it. My friend removed the drain trap, full of hair. Not a nice beginning. Big troubles with carpark entry electronic card not serviceable on at least three different occasions. Regular contact with owner.
1. Once told to leave car on main street, and he would pay any traffic infringement.
2. Second time, to drive car to a church location and leave in carpark. Very dark, and
frightening for a female. After visiting church carpark, drove back and left car in main
street. Parking meter fees paid by myself.
3. Third time, the owner offered to repay me $80 as compensation for the
inconvenience attached to the rent. I have forwarded him details of the account for
deposit of the refund, not happened.
4. Many hours and phone calls and changed arrangements, I would not recommend
this apartment, or the word of the owner.
5. Overall experience, poor, strongly recommend alternative accommodation to
viewers.
Perfect location to everywhere!! Right by the train station, supermarket and Southbank. Only downside was the beds were rock hard and not very large for someone who is 6 foot!
Homely Apartments is someone's private apartment sub leased in a private building. There is no reception or lobby and had to collect the apartment key from a convenience store, 3 city blocks away at a which was extremely inconvenient when we had just traveled all day and had a tired family.
Very unclean and unhygienic, blood on bedding, dirty wet towel left in cupboard, dirty carpets and seating, used food in pantry, used toiletries in bathroom, no pillow cases on beds, advertised Queens Sized beds but only Doubles.Bedding configuration wasn't done as per booking request. One person had to sleep on small couch as bedding configuration was wrong.
Moved out before early, complained and luckily got a full refund but all the photos taken were proof of how bad it was.
We have used Wotif for bookings for years and won't ever be using again as just too disappointing and it seems the standard is dropping.
