Albion Manor is a little dated, but very clean and friendly staff. Location is great, choices of eateries in walking distance, and fairly close to the airport. Will definitely stay again.

Nicola was very helpful and gracious, the rooms were very clean and lots of places to eat nearby in this quiet town of Albion. My wife and I would be happy to stay there again.

When Jetstar cancelled my son’s flight from Brisbane to Adelaide, last minute, I had to book a hotel, not being from Brisbane & Racing against the clock to get a hotel room for him for the night I booked this place. Unfortunately, at the time we didn’t realise that the reception closed at 8 pm, however, the booking went through & I read something about 24 hour check-in. My son jumped in an Uber and arrived at the hotel, Unfortunately, that’s where we found out that the reception closes at 8 pm, and after hours bookings are by arrangement, only! My son called me extremely distressed. I called the after hours number he gave me and the wonderful manager came down and got him into his room, if it wasn’t for her i’m not sure where he would’ve been, Wotif were absolutely useless, there is no way I would book through this platform again, however, the manager from this property went above and beyond for my son! She gets five stars, I would have no hesitation in booking again, she went above and beyond for my family in such a stressful situation. The manager and Albion Manor 10 out of 10 - wotif 0 out of 10 !!!!!!

Clean, comfortable and great location
Clean, comfortable room within walking distance to Albion shops and restaurants. No hairdryer in the room and no response when I called reception. Popped into the reception foyer in my PJs and still no response. Finally the manager appeared and chided me for holding the reception bell... but she did get me the missing hair dryer

Thanks Anonymous. I didn't chide you but merely pointed you did not hold the bell down. As it was from the time you pressed the bell to the time i was in reception it was 45 seconds!

Location was convenient, check in was easy and pleasant, room was spacious and had a kitchenette (not required for our stay - but certainly good to know). Room was clean, bed comfortable. Off street, undercover parking was easily accessible.

In the top 5 of the all time worst places I've stayed in my lifetime. Awful experience with the owner at check-in. Cramped room. Cold. Noisy. Smokers outside at midnight and others loitering around the entrance. 545am transfer to the airport didn't happen on time. Got an Uber instead. Do not stay. Avoid at all costs.

Thank you for your feedback Darren. Upon investigating with the Shuttle company, imagine my surprise when the company informed me that you refused to get in the shuttle as it had people from a different race than you on it. You were then offered a different shuttle but also refused this.As for your experience with me at check in I am so sorry that i was using the toilet when you arrived and had to wait for 90 seconds for me to arrange your check in. It is also interesting that you say our rooms are cramped when in actual fact they are double the size of a normal motel room.

Excellent location, super friendly staff. It's a bit dated but excellent value for the money. Everything clean, tidy and well appointed room. No hesitation coming back.

Manager has Issues. Hotel smells like something died and cigarettes. Mould along tiles in bathroom and all over shower curtain. Hair Dryer burnt out and left in position. Traffic noise horrendous. Think 80’s funeral parkour and your there. Good Luck !

Thank you for your feedback Kylie. I am surprised that at no stage during your four day stay did you ever raise your concerns with me. I am wondering if this review is more based on the fact that I had to ask you multiple times to respect other guests in the motel and not let your children run in the hallway, jump on the lounge in the foyer late at night while you were sitting in your room drinking wine. As i did mention to you that several guests had woken me up to complain about the noise.

Comfortable 3 night stay
A very comfortable 3 night stay. Spacious and clean room and bathroom with a kitchenette and enclosed 'sun room' which doubles as a 2nd bedroom. Bed is comfortable, though pillows are a little hard, but was a good night sleep every night. Extra blankets available when it's cold, good air-conditioning when hot. Room was next to main road, but with windows closed, traffic noise did not disturb me. Shower took a while to get hot, but was nice and hot with good water pressure. Plenty of powerpoints. Host was friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic with Albion Train Station only a few hundred metres away (city centre stations only 2-3 stops away and direct service to Airport and the Gold Coast), lots of great restaurants and cafes close by, and a great pub just down the road. Definitely stay again!
