"Never used the bar. The air conditioning was to cold for us both being in our 80s.,so we asked for it to be turned off witch it was and the heating turned up witch it was done straight away to our delight. No other complaints at all. This is the 5th time we have stayed in your hotels never had any complaints. "

"Lovely staff in an old beautiful building. The breakfast was great and the room was cosy and clean but a little on the colder side. Unfortunately we were directly above the function room which had a party on the Saturday day. The music was so loud that the furniture was vibrating. I should have requested a quiet room upon booking. I wouldn't let it put me off booking again"

"The suites were both extremely spacious, but the air con in one is very loud and there is no air con in the other. Some areas of the hotel look a little tired. With that said though, it is a wonderful venue and the staff were extremely helpful. The food is good, the golf course looks great, and the surroundings are very pleasant too. A great place to stop overnight or for a golf trip I imagine."

"The hotel is I think one of if not, the oldest in Grimsby but comfortable, clean room. Good freshly cooked breakfast with lighter options. Warm friendly staff and always friendly and helpful. I only stayed one night but would stay again. Close to the station. 15 minutes."

"Stayed for a two week work trip. My room was cleaned daily with fresh tea , coffee and buiscuits. Food in the restaurant was lovely and was well looked after by staff. Had a comfortable room overlooking the golf course and have booked again for my next work trip. "

"Room was clean and comfortable. Evening Meal (March Madness Offer) which was excellent value & very tasty, washed down with quality Real Ale. Finished stay with English Breakfast and filter coffee. All round superb & will be staying again!"
