Beautiful B and B
Beautiful B and B in a peaceful setting. Warm welcome . Lovely clean comfortable room. Nice patio area to enjoy a glass of wine . Delicious cooked to order breakfast . Would stay again if in the area and would have no hesitation in recommending .

Recommended!
Kay and Julian are the perfect hosts, very welcoming and kind. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything that I needed for a great stay. Breakfast was substantial and superb. I couldn't have hoped for a better experience than mine at Halsons B & B. Thank you v much.

Wonderful stay in a delightful B&B
My parents stayed here for a night while they were visiting and they absolutely loved it. They were so grateful for the little touches (fabulous cake!) and a very warm and welcoming hostess. They were thrilled with the room and had everything they could have wished for. Fabulous breakfast also!

Fabulous B&B - even better hosts!
Halson’s B&B is fabulous! Our room was huge and well decorated with a big comfy bed...you’re out in the countryside and so there was no sound at night and we got two good nights sleep. The bathroom was also a great size with a premium finish and importantly a lovely hot shower. Again, nothing but positivity for the breakfast! Kay really seemed to enjoy looking after her guests and we had great conversations over breakfast. Highly recommend!

Lovely place, Lovely people!
We really enjoyed our stay here - an excellent location to explore Dorset/Devon. Halsons deserves its 5 star rating - would definitely stay again!

Superior quality bed and breakfast
We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. Everything was perfect. The room was very comfortable and the food was amazing! We would definitely stay here again.

A Perfect Home Base For Exploring The Coast
We felt so fortunate to have found Halson’s Bed and Breakfast, it was the perfect home base for exploring the Jurassic Coast. Julian and Kay were kind and gracious hosts. Halson’s is easy to get to from the A35, but Google maps decided we should arrive via the scenic route, which eventually got us lost. Julian kindly met us at a location we were able to identify and led us “home”. Our room, Park Rose, was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was enormous, with contemporary fixtures and a really cool shower. The bed was a treat to slide into at night after hiking all day. It was obvious that Kay put a lot of effort into details that make all the difference. Breakfast was made to order and delicious and we enjoyed sharing experiences with the other guests in the sunny dining room. Don’t miss the incredible vistas atop the Golden Cap, which is a short walk (about 1 mile) from Halson’s. If you enjoy hiking, follow the South West Coast Path east towards West Bay and marvel at the beauty of Dorset’s cliffs and coastline. We were truly sorry to leave and would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to get back to that part of the world. Thank you Kay and Julian for a wonderful stay!

Great Location and room.
Great situation just off the A35 from where we could easily walk on a peaceful route to Golden Cap and beyond. We enjoyed the size and homely feel of the room and the large and modern bathroom. The cooked breakfast was most enjoyable with some lively fruit, fresh bread and various jams etc. The owners were helpful and friendly and parking was easy in the driveway.

A brief stay.
Comfortable, clean, welcoming and friendly we couldn't ask for more for our overnight stay. Kaye even set up the lounge with tea, cake and the telly tuned to the Grand prix for us. Fantastic service, highly recommended.
