"This place is a real credit to the staff and Fullers who have just done a full refurb. Room was excellent loved the coffee machine and bottled water everyday. Breakfast was perfect start to day and we had wonderful dinner. Complementary drink on arrival was a lovely touch and we will definitely go back. "

"We had a fantastic two-night stay at The George. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely keen to make sure our stay was perfect. We stayed in Room 2, which was comfortable with a great-sized bed and a lovely view over the harbour. Tea, coffee, fresh water, towels—everything we needed was there and thoughtfully prepared. Breakfast was included, and the Full English was cooked perfectly. There was also fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, and orange juice, which made for a great start to the day. The bar in the evening had a brilliant atmosphere, with a mix of locals and tourists that made it feel really welcoming. A special thank you to the host—you made us feel so at home. We’d definitely recommend The George and would happily stay again."
