You get what you pay for i guess. We enjoyed our stay, staff are friendly. Not as clean as i would like but for the price what do you expect. Breakfast was not the best but was fed. Loads of cereals to choose from for the kids. Coffee was beaut. Toast and jams. Lovely doggies :-)

Traditional B&B with an excellent breakfast just like the old days. Staff greeted on arrival and checked us in promptly with a bottle of fresh milk. Only issue could be parking as it's on a busy street we circled the area a few times before luckily finding a freshly vacated space.

There was plenty of electricity points to charge mobility scooters. No tv lounge, or bar due to that area used by the owner. The licenced bar area, full of cleaning products, and items for the owner’s dogs. There was no seating in the room, so had to sit on the bed, to relax on an evening. The breakfast was an under par. The sausages was burnt on one side, and the mushrooms was undercooked on one side and burnt on the other side. The fried bread, which as dripping with grease. Not recommended for people in wheelchairs and mobility problems. Broken lamp plug, with very low and dim lighting, very bad paint work. Not very clean in side and outside. Wires showing throughout the property.

Easy to find and check in. Room was pleasant, bed comfortable with lovely shower in the en-suite. Breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of cereals and huge cooked breakfast with lots of options. The location is excellent for the south shore and the Spa (event centre), which are both a short walk away. If we go back to Bridlington we will definitely stay here again.

excellent stay at oakwell

Excellent place to stay, great location, not far from the main town of Bridlington, loved the breakfast was very nice and tasty. came for the race the waves always come to Bridlington and always enjoy the place, also paid for 3 nights, but paid another night. enjoyable trip will come back again soon. ignore other people's reviews because we stayed an extra night and David was nice and polite and very courteous, and very friendly.

This is a nice and cheap place the beds are so comfortable didn’t wanna get out TV easy to use and the WiFi easy to set up need ur own toiletries has only hand soap there I always take mine no matter where I go towels and toilet roll ..the breakfast was wow very good and lots of it u can have smaller one if desired coffee very nice to stay here now twice and will be staying again Thank you

A great welcome from a wonderful family run hotel. We stayed in room 12 the 4 of us in a family room. Shower was good & the room ample, the beds comfy, linen fresh & clean. The breakfast is AMAZING !!! Very close to the seafront. The hosts are lovely people & Molly the dog is soft & friendly. Thanks for a great stay! We will be returning again soon! 👍👍
