Stayed here overnight 2 adults 3 children, booked the superior suite suitable for 6, we enjoyed our stay here, was warmly welcomed by owner on arrival, room was fab and hotel was lovely all round, breakfast was very nice, always made sure we had everything we needed, and literally 5 min walk from beach, only downfall i would say is the room doesnt fit 6 as advertised there is a double bed, single bunk beds, and a pull out sofa bed but once pulled out flat its still only single and was advised only suitable for a child, perfect for us and our stay but think this needs to be advitised as room for 5 not 6, on average though i would still give 9 out of 10. Thank you for a lovely stay we will be back

Outstanding B&B !0/10

Warm and friendly greeting from Wendy on arrival.Very impressed with overall look of the B & B and room presentation. Everywhere was clean and well presented,and all the needs of guests were catered for. Wide choice of breakfast from cereals to full english and choice of beverages. The full english was first class so compliments to Ray. Wendy was the perfect host and nothing was to much trouble and catered for all of our needs with a smile.

The door was answered promptly on arrival. No problems with checkin. Room was clean and spotless. Linen on the twin beds was fresh, almost new and the bed comfortable.Breakfast was typical of what you expect these days. Choice of 8 cereals! The usual full English or just the items you want. Eggs done how you want. Scrambled egg or beans on toast. Toast. Good fresh coffee. Wendy couldn't do enough for you. Good local knowledge of where to visit, or eat. Other suggestions of where to visit, like fossil hunting on the beach, or bird watching at Bempton Cliffs. Excellent three night stay.

Northern Soul friendly

We stayed here as we were going to the Northern Soul Weekender in Bridlington we were disappointed with the music. But the Ivanhoe made up for it. it was a lovely, friendly Guest house the Owners could not have been more accommodating if they tried. great choice for breakfast something for everyone We may have not got the Music we wanted but We would always go back to the Ivanhoe

Spotless and very comfortable.

I stayed here with the wife when we saw Kasabian at the Spa for which it was perfectly located a short walk away. The hotel has car parking, Wifi and is spotless. We had a very large comfortable room which was very homely. The breakfast was of a high quality and had extras such as yogurts and fresh fruit. We would definitely stay there again

Considering what was paid not impressed with room - did not have curtains just blinds. Breakfast very good. Public area very tidy. This is a seaside B&B and it shows in the decor. Our visit was out of season and the only ones staying that night so this may have affected my review

Enjoyable holiday

Very friendly from the moment you enty the front door, the room was large clean and the bed was comfotable so after a good night sleep you can go down for breakfast which was also very pleasing. So overall i would have no problem in recomeding this hotel to friends or indeed returning to use again myself.

Hotel or B & B to be more accurate was near sea front and owners were friendly breakfast was very good. Parking can be a slight problem but I managed to park nearby when I could not get on to the on site area. My only problem was with the slopping ceiling in the top bed room toilet, Not much head height over the loo !
