We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage, being very old, is just what we wanted, yet there were still all the mod cons to make life easy. The staircase was very interesting, to say the least and a wonderful feature. The log burner was great and gave off a lot of heat, which was especially enjoyable when we had one cold and very wet evening in October.

Lovely Cottage
Location was good for our needs. Comfortable beds and nice fluffy towels. Well equipped if you bring a dog .
Cleanliness was not great. Cobwebs, crockery not particularly clean and sign above en-suite toilet had an ominous brown streak on it. Dust on all surfaces and particularly under beds was noticeable when checking we had packed everything. Cottage generally needs a good clean through.

Cozy accommodation, good location..
Good location
Off street parking
Comfortable bed
Adequate kitchen facilities
Lounge seating and dining area
Ground and first floor bathrooms
No instruction manual found?
Searched for, but not found.
No idea how to work WiFi or dvd recorder etc. There has been one in most accommodation that we have stayed in.
The lounge centre light bulb was 'on the blink'. If this went out and tripped the fuse box, we wouldn't know where the electric meter was to turn back on again.
Opening windows for ventilation

Great little cottage and we enjoyed our stay.
Very nice to find something dog friendly and that had thought about entertaining the kids - a PlayStation and games we appreciated. The stairs are the only down point of the cottage but that's part of its old charm too.
Only minor problem we had was the kettle broke whilst we were there and a flickering lightbulb - both reported to the helpline but weren't fixed before we left. Overall happy with our stay.
Very disappointed. Area outside entrance door was dirty and damp, inside the cottage stank of the previous occupant food. The compost bin still had old good in it and the dishes and cutlery were filthy..the plates underneath had baked on food which we had to remove with a scourer. Not impressed.
