"Overall, it was a great experience! The staff was very nice and helpful. They are going through some renovations right now, but even with this it was not too much of disturbance. Would love to come back soon!"
"We didn’t realize there was no fridge or coffee maker in the room. Coffee available downstairs, though.
Walls are thin and doors and don’t go down to the floor, so you can hear everything everywhere.
We were on the 3rd floor and could hear the band on the second floor very clearly.
But. The bed and the pillows were amazing!"
"I’ll start with the positive: beautiful view, the hotel is clean, the staff is welcoming, and the breakfast was very good even though it’s not included. However, if you’re not on the top floor, you’ll hear people walking above you—the soundproofing is very poor, which really bothered me. Also, our room was facing an outdoor electric fire pit where a large, noisy family was gathered, and we could hear everything. I don’t recommend it if you’re looking for peace and quiet.

"The cabin is so cozy. Loved the fireplace and convenience to Tupper, Saranac, and lake Placid. Great place to stay if you have a student at the Ranger School in Wanakana (Cranberry Lake) as well. Great day hikes close by. Internet is fast if you have any work meetings. The kitchen pots and pans were also great - chef grade. Water cooler was also a great touch. All of the couches and chairs were comfy for family movie nights in the evening. And there was plenty of seating for everyone. Wish we could have used the screen porch more but it snowed and was chilly when we were there. There is a little stream that runs down that side of the cabin and it is so tranquil. "
"Kitchen didnt have a stove or cooktop but has a microwave, a kuerig and a bbq grill outside. All plates, etc very nice phalsgraff mugs. Shower had hot waterand beds were very comfortable. "
