"Excellent location just 2 minutes from the beautiful beach. Our room was spacious and very clean the a balcony overlooking the street and with a sea view. The morning sunrises were outstanding. The owners and staff are very friendly whilst remaining professional at all times. "

"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Our first time staying at a Brit Hotel. The staff, even the ones that did not speak English were extremely friendly and helpful. A special commendation to Elise who went above and beyond to help us. "I specifically booked this hotel as on the website the restaurant showed that the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening and served lovely fish. I even messaged asking to reserve a table. However, after a long drive, on arrival we were told it was not open which was very disappointing and annoying. There was very little choice in the area without driving so our last night in France was a big let down. I am very aware that on Sunday nights in France this can be the case so, after researching...

"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm. "

"Excellent stay again , and Valerie and Guy were on hand if there were any problems . Guy leaving his own brand of home brew which was great .The super Market was just fifteen minutes away and the area is very quiet .Very easy to get to local beaches and D.DAY memorials .Went for a few walks in the evening and visited a few sights .On the whole a very relaxing stay again ."

"Our stay was perfectly fine. It was a little tighter spacewise than anticipated but we managed. Comfortable bed and good showering facility. Not much space to put anything and a bigger or another couple of towels would be an improvement. Staff were friendly and helpful and with their limited English and my limited French, we sorted everything!!"
