GREAT!
First off, I have to give a huge shoutout to the front desk attendant, Rene. He was amazing. He was always smiling and happy to see us, gave great directions so we didn't get lost on the way to the parking garage or our rooms, and even directed us to a local restaurant that had amazing food! He made the stay so enjoyable. The property was well-kept and clean. We loved the proximity to everything in downtown Breck! We stayed here for my bachelorette party and enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and walking downtown.
Location great. We have stayed here before and the unit we had before was better. The lighting was dim in all the rooms and living room. Very dim! We had four people and seating was ok. One chair is very hard and not worth sitting in. Sofa and one chair are comfortable. There is not a chair in the master bedroom like the photos show! Also need measuring cups, spoons, glasses and silverware. View is good but not much of the slopes unless you stand on the balcony. So no view of mountain slopes. I would not stay here again.
My family and I had a very nice time. Great location and prioximity to Main Street, chairlift and breck sports. There was not a guaranteed parking space, nor in room dining, on site pub, yoga experience, fast tracks and fire place didn’t work. Only complaint is check those little details esp parking. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no concerns.
Our condo was everything we expected and fit our family perfectly! We fully enjoyed our stay and everything was walkable. My only complaint was there was no parking in the garage the day we arrived and had to unload all our stuff for four adults and two children on a rack and pull up the long ramp to the building then move the car about a mile away and walk back! We were able to move to the garage the next morning but was very inconvenient! Other than that everything was great!!
Nobody came to give us fresh towels we had to go down to get them every day. Our dirty towels stayed in the hallway all week. Also no one changed our trash either.
Our family/friend group of six had a wonderful stay. The corner unit was as pictured with nice views. Beds we’re comfortable and we had plenty of space to spread out. Location to town & quicksilver chair couldn’t be any better. Our only complaint would be with The Village check in. We had to wait until after 5 for our room to be ready and we had already purchased groceries on our way in on shuttle. The front desk clerk told us the check in “begins at 4 but that doesn’t mean that you can get in your room at that time”. This has never been our experience anywhere, anytime before. Also, we were never given a map of property, list of amenities, etc. We had to call down to get our Wi-Fi password & to find out where washing machine was located. We payed to wash the towels in our unit but maybe could’ve called down for more, not sure. We would definitely stay in this condo again.
Our stay in this condo was great! It was clean and in a great location. We’d love to come back!

Lacking but Location is Amazing
We arrived on the 16th and waited for hours before being able to check in. They did not allow us to check in until 4. We didn't realize why until we opened the door to the unit. Upon opening the door we were hit with an overwhelming smoke smell. The previous renters had chain smoked in the unit. The smell was horrific. The unit was not clean. We found a pile of cigarette ashes on the master bath countertop and the linens wreaked of smoke. We had housekeeping come wipe down all the counters in the unit and they agreed to re-clean the entire unit the next afternoon.
The linens for the pull out coach were thrown in the bottom of the closet on top of the mop and brown. The shelving for both closets was disassembled and piled on the floor of the closets. My husband spent an hour assembling the shelving units for both closets since there is not a lot of drawer space in either bedroom.
The kitchen does not have any Tupperware or storage containers. Both spatulas were destroyed. One was in pieces and the other was melted. No scissors or pizza cutter. No container to hold the ice in the freezer. No sharp knives to cut with. The faucet in the kitchen was not installed correctly. The sink looked like it was barely attached to the countertop.
The electrical box in the second bedroom behind the bed is hanging out of the wall. One of the lights over the fireplace looks like it was ripped out. No laundry basket for taking dirty/clean laundry back and forth. Large hard area on the carpet in the family room where someone spilled something and it was never cleaned up.
Unfortunately, the cigarette smell was with us the entire week. No way to get rid of days/week of heavy smoking. Hopefully, the smell was gone by the next renters arrival.
The unit needs updating. And the kitchen is in need of basic essentials. Especially for the high price they are asking per night.
The location is amazing. Cant get any closer to the mountain. We will be back, just not to this unit.

Condo is FABULOUS / Booking Needs Improvement
This is our 2nd time this year to stay at The Village at Breckenridge and, in our opinion, the location cannot be beat. Steps away from town, ski school, ski rentals, and the Quicksilver lift, it's a perfect location for those skiing with kids. This particular property didn't disappoint either. It had an amazing view, was spacious, well appointed, and the beds were fairly comfortable as well (the master bedroom king took some getting used to, but it was still better than most). The front desk at Village at Breck is also helpful and wonderful, always willing to bring humidifiers, dishwashing soap, and even laundry detergent.
However, the trip was a bit marred by the management company, Vail Resorts, and the advertising company, RedAwning. Approximately 10 days prior to our trip, someone from wholesale at Vail Resorts contacted us to advise they were "upgrading us" to a non ski in / ski out location on another peak. When I asked why, they said it was a "maintenance issue." When I asked what could possibly take over 10 days to fix, they couldn't answer. I told them the "upgrade" wasn't acceptable because it was a distance from the ski school, and we had planned the trip with friends in the same location. They essentially told me we would either have to take the "upgrade" or they could refund our money for the condo, "without penalty". What about our flights, transportation, ski school, and lift tickets? I continued pushing for a solution on my own despite wholesale Vail Resorts arguing that I had to go through RedAwning and RedAwning claiming there was absolutely nothing they could do. About 2 days later, after a ton of calls and messages, and right before I was going to pay thousands of dollars additional to book another similar location, I was told everything was fine, they moved another family and our condo would be available. Clearly, they double booked the unit, but claimed a maintenance issue as a defense to holding up their end of the contract. As I spoke with people around town about it, I was told it happens quite often. That is unacceptable business practices. If you double book, own up and solve the problem instead of bullying families into settling for less than what they paid for. Ultimately, I appreciated the employees from Vail Resorts solving the problem, but I think there is a significant character problem with the overall management of the company.
