Heartstone Hideaway offers all these things in a location that close to town, the slopes and great hiking trails, including the popular Isak Heartstone trail. Plus, it’s dog friendly. You and your group will love it!

Heartstone Hideaway is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom private home that comfortably accommodates up to 10 people. Located just five minutes from Downtown Breckenridge and the slopes at Breckenridge Ski Resort, this traditional mountain home offer comfort and great amenities. The living area is spacious, with vaulted ceilings and large windows letting in the forest light. There’s also gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV for catching a movie or the morning snow report.

The kitchen features granite counters, stainless-steel appliances, and all the gear you’ll need to whip up memorable mountain meals for everyone in your group. The dining table seats six, and there’s room for four more at the counter. Just off the living area is a large deck that allows you to enjoy the beautiful setting of this home. There’s plenty of seating, a gas grill for barbequing and, of course, a large private hot tub!

Other amenities of this home include a 2-car garage plus room for three vehicles outside, a washer/dryer, and complimentary Wi-Fi and cable TV. We loved the home and had a wonderful week in Breck. Beautiful wall of windows looking out at the pines, large deck and hot tub. Well stocked kitchen. Close to hiking trails and downtown yet still private.

Wonderful Stay

Hearthstone was an ideal spot for our family holiday!

The Headstone was perfect. Great house, very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was ideally located to Main St., Breck Village and all the local spots. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the patio and hot tub and the quiet tranquil back snow covered yard with all the snow covered Spruce trees. Such a great visit and home!

Winter staycation

The property is close to town and tucked away into the woods enough that it is private and quiet with beautiful views of the surrounding trees. The property was very clean and well kept. My family and our dogs loved our stay and playing in the snow behind the property.

Beautiful house, great location

The house was great. View was beautiful, place was clean, water pressure amazing. Walking distance to downtown (about 20 min) and the shuttle is only a 5 min walk. Could use a couple upgraded kitchen items and refreshed spices as most were expired but it has everything you would need and nothing was in worse condition than any other rental. Overall, we were very comfortable and had a great stay.

Great place!

This beautiful house exceeded our expectations! It is in a great spot only a few minutes from town. We would definitely stay here again and refer friends and family. We came to decompress after a wedding and it was a very peaceful and restful place. The host was communicative prior to our arrival to ensure we didn't have any problems when we checked in.

Beautiful Property!

We got to enjoy moose and fox sightings from the living room and kitchen. Easy to get to town and hiking trails to explore. The children loved the large yard. Many of the railings were not up to code, so we did have have to watch the kids a little more closely.

Great place to stay

The property is in a perfect location in Breck. Right outside of town, on a private lot with lots of trees. It was clean and well stocked. Guys came to shovel the snow and take garbage. Beds were comfy and we had enough room. The bunkbeds were in separate cubbies in the third bedrroom and separate from the queen bed so there was some privacy in there. The hot tub and back patio were fantastic. The only things that I could say in improvement would be that the spiral staircase seems to be getting unstable, and the house was a little dated and could use some upgrades. We had a wonderful time and def will be booking this house again. Thank you!!

Great Location, Needs Some TLC

We have stayed at this location 3 times in recent years. The location is great - walkable to town, yet feels private and close to many trails. Compared to our first visit, the property seems to need some attention. The shower curtain was covered in mold, many of the dishes had food or lip marks on them (not clean), there were mice in the garage, and there was broken glass near the bench in the side yard. Perhaps it’s turned over too quickly between renters? We still love this house for the location and layout, but this last visit gave us pause for booking again. With that said, the property managers were responsive so we are hopeful it gets some more thorough cleaning and maintenance, and maybe we just had an unlucky visit.

Proximity is great, poorly maintained

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, our stay was fine. The proximity to downtown and the slopes is the best part of this rental. You're not in downtown Breck but close enough to be a stone's throw from everything. The actual amenities and cleanliness was poor. There was dog hair on all the blankets, we ended up having to wash them before our first night. The floors were not vacuumed in the main areas, we could see little specs of dirt when you brushed the floor with your hand. The dishwasher also leaked out into the kitchen when we used it, and water started leaking through the bathroom ceiling. The hot tub worked and was well maintained, the fireplace worked, and the grill worked once we figured out it was hardwired in. The staff was responsive but the only thing they sent a maintenance person to us for was the leaking bathroom ceiling. I hope they can fix everything for future guests and make sure the floors are vacuumed and the blankets are washed.

Great location, beautiful property

We very much enjoyed our stay, the location was close to town (20-min walk), an ice rink (town trolly, shuttle to the slopes), and nice hiking trails (Illinois Creek trailhead) all accessible by a safe sidewalk along the road. We arrived 30 minutes early on the day of check-in (trying to beat the weather) but the property hadn't been inspected as was explained by the property management team and we couldn't enter until the inspection was complete. This seemed pretty close to the check-in time (4pm) so we waited until a little after 4 and called, they had waived off the inspector and texted the entry code but the cell signal was weak at the property and I didn't get it until I drove toward the town. So take note if you are waiting to enter at the property. The fireplace was great and warmed the living area nicely. The hot tub was wonderful and the kitchen is well appointed. Even though the setting is remote you can hear the trucks engine break on the road, especially in the morning. Be warned maintenance staff appeared without notification (pool service, staff to shovel off snow from the deck) and they plowed the drive at 11 pm a couple of times during our stay. There were a few cobwebs present but somewhat expected with the high A-frame ceilings. All-in-all we had a wonderful time, the property exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it.

Breck getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Heartstone Hideaway was just as described. Our party of adults, teenagers and one dog had a great stay. The open kitchen worked great when used, the great room was a wonderful place for playing cards and puzzles, bedrooms worked great with 6 people, and the large deck was wonderful for hanging out. The special touch of the two moose lying in the back yard on the first afternoon/evening of your stay was a special treat. Later in the stay we had what seemed to be very friendly fox make an extended visit next to the deck. With the snow melt going on, the brook running along the property was delightful as well. The only downfall of our stay was the repaving of the road next to the house. This made it difficult to walk/drive to town for three of the days we where there. The good news is, the night before we where to leave they finished that stretch of road, so anyone staying after us has a nice new stretch of road to traverse We wouldn't hesitate staying here again in the future.

The Perfect Multi Generational Family Ski Rental

We also noticed how the bedroom layout fit our family needs perfectly; A family suite for two kids in bunks, parent bed, and laundry all in one. While the older couples slept upstairs away from the family noise.The living room is also perfect for gatherings while the kitchen, open concept, allows everyone to share in cooking and conversation. The location was perfect; a short walk to the ICE rink and free bus shuttle. My notably, the customer service staff was so friendly and responsive.
