Great mountain home

Our family had a wonderful few days relaxing in this beautiful home. It was plenty big for our large group. So convenient to have the shuttle stop just out our door! Highly recommend!

Perfect location.

Great location! Bus stop was right by the house and we rarely had to drive. Two refrigerators was a plus for our large family. Beds were super comfortable. We had a great time at this house.

Family Christmas Ski Trip

We loved the property! It had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as lots of space for everyone to spread out and relax. There was seating for everyone at the giant dining table and the 2 refrigerators was a true bonus. It was clean and comfortable and truly lovely.

Wonderful place!

We have stayed in many rental homes in Colorado. We’ve had the full range of experiences. Many owners just want to make money and don’t keep up their properties. But happily, this does not apply to the owners and managers of Friendly Fox Chalet. They have kept up their property very well. It was clean and up to date. The location was very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend!

Perfect for our Girls' Trip

This was our 20th annual girls trip, and we have stayed all over Colorado in the past two decades. This house was so functional, well-equipped, and lovely. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed for cooking gourmet dinners, and the gathering spaces were so great. The hot tub was clean and nice and hot. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms were so quiet, even when some of our group were up later than others. So impressed with this place; we had a great time and will be back!

Large group skiing

Stayed here with a large group on a ski trip, 15 people. The 6 upstairs bedrooms are great, plenty of rooms. The 2 main floor bunk-rooms are bit tight for adults, certainly better suited for kids. The house was clean and the kitchen well-appointed. The Breck free-ride bus stop is right outside the house which was awesome and was easy to get to the slopes. We used Uber to get to town for evening dinners, that also was a piece of cake. I would recommend this property.

Great spaces to hang out

The house was clean and kitchen was very well stocked with cooking pans, cups/glasses and spices. Having 2 main indoor hang out areas was really great. The hot tub was secluded in the back from next door neighbors. The wood deck and table could use updating but overall enjoyed the outdoor space. The bunk rooms were fantastic for the kids in our group and the bedroom suites upstairs worked out perfectly for the parents. There was a free Breck shuttle stop pretty much right outside the house which was very convenient.

Great location, good for large groups

We booked this house for a family reunion, and overall it was awesome. The kitchen is well stocked, and there were enough bathrooms for each family unit to have their own which was awesome. The neighborhood is lovely and in walking distance to town. Loved the huge dining table, and the kids loved having a separate living area to hang out together. My only complaint is that the beds were uncomfortable in almost every room. Like seriously uncomfortable. Every morning someone was saying how poorly they slept or that their back hurt. If they upgraded the mattresses this house would be perfect.

We cooked all our meals together, and we loved the large table and the well equipped kitchen. We all slept comfortably, and had plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the convenient shuttle bus stop right out front. We walked 2 blocks down to the Blue River to wade and to fish. We were glad to receive the help we needed when we noticed the grill was not cooperating. We would be glad to stay there again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great time in Breckenridge and enjoyed the space of this property. There were 15 of us and we needed at least 7 bedrooms to accommodate the adults but it came with another bedroom that the younger kids loved to stay in. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that you would need to cook with which was great. My only minor disappointment was you can't really entertain on the deck. Would have been nice if that was a bit larger and had more features to accommodate a large group. Hot tub was nice.
