"We were well looked after by Scout on arrival. The property had a very calming atmosphere. The menu is not extensive but the quality of the food was excellent and we liked the idea of the small plates it gave the opportunity to try a number of items (in the style of tapas but with more quantity). "Firstly I just want to say thank you to Maggie, she was absolutely fantastic!! We booked the room with a sea view, and it was an unreal view. Lovely high ceilings, a beautiful building. Some parts of the hotel were closed because of renovations, so if I came back I’d do it next year when they’re complete. Elemis products in the bathroom, very nice touch. A lovely bath tub. The view is unmatched, if you book, get a sea view room! There was a wedding on, which limited where we could go in the property during the evening, but it wasn’t much of a problem. We ate at the restaurant and the wine was great, I ordered a pizza which had too much cheese on, but overall an OK experience. The best parts were the view, the high ceilings, and Maggie!! :)"

The one thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast - we had decided to stick with the continental option, the buffet was limited, the toast we had ordered never arrived, and my mum’s gluten free toast got there only just before we left, more than half an hour in. I appreciate things can get busy, but it was unfortunate that there was no communication about it."
