The Garden Cottage offers the idyllic country retreat. Occupying a quiet wing of the owners country house, the holiday cottage works well both as a comfortable base to return to after a day of walking or surfing, or as somewhere to spend a quiet few days unwinding from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a large garden to enjoy and there are some great views around the surrounding countryside and beyond.

Located in the quiet hamlet of Boode, consisting of the main house and the local dairy farm, there are some lovely country walks right from the cottage. The nearby village of Braunton is the gateway to some of the finest beaches in the country. If surfing, rock pooling or simply lazing on the beach is your thing, then look no further. Braunton has a very good range of shops and restaurants.

During your stay, there are many other places and things to do. Enjoy great walking on Exmoor or the South West Coast Path. Take days out to Lynton and Lynmouth, Ilfracombe, RHS Rosemoor, Clovelly and if you have little ones, there is the Big Sheep and the Milky Way. There is cycling on the Tarka Trail and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally. Shop, pub and restaurant 11/2 miles.
