"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"The staff was amazing from the front desk with Oscar and Michael to the housekeeping staff. You have access to the double tree hotel pool and hot tub next door which is a much bigger pool. The breakfast was excellent and they will make you an omelette if you request it the day before. The garage and parking is free if you have a car. Loved having a refrigerator and microwave in the room and the ability to cook on the stove. There is also a small market within walking distance. On Wednesday night from 5:30pm to 7:00pm there is a complimentary social hour with wine , beer soda and small plate foods"

"Tuve una excelente experiencia en el Gran Hotel Costa Rica. Desde el momento del check-in, el personal fue muy amable, atento y profesional. La habitación estaba impecable, era cómoda y tenía todo lo necesario para una estancia agradable. La ubicación es excelente, ideal para recorrer el centro de San José y conocer sus principales atracciones. El desayuno fue variado y de muy buena calidad, y las instalaciones del hotel estuvieron siempre limpias y bien cuidadas. Sin duda volvería a hospedarme aquí y lo recomiendo a quienes busquen comodidad, excelente servicio y una ubicación privilegiada en San José. ¡Muchas gracias por hacer de mi estancia una experiencia tan agradable!"

"This property is immaculate and quite new. The room is spacious, with room for 4 to sleep as long as you don't mind bedsharing. The room has a small full kitchen, a washer and dryer, a sitting area, dining area, sleeping area and ample closet space. The balcony has room to sit and the wall is completely made of windows with a sweet view of the city and mountains. The TV was simple to use, and the washing machine got all our clothes (nasty from the jungle) smelling great. Onsite parking was available and after you get used to the lift (staff will help) easy. The neighborhood is adorable with great restaurants walking distance and beautiful murals. We returned here from an ecolodge in the jungle and the place felt so comfortable and easy. Highly recommend."
