"The lodge is beautiful, and an impressive piece of architecture. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and food is very good. There's a pool table and game room downstairs in the lodge, which we definitely took advantage of with the weather turned against us. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained. Note that when you turn off the main road you drive past quite odiferous cow sheds and through a pasture...just have faith and keep driving to the lodge. The actual rooms appear to be the old bunkhouse, so they're a bit odd; the rooms are functional for the most part, but ceilings are quite low and the bathroom is sort of an elongated closet, so they have a weird feel. The walls are thin, but the other guests are quiet, so it all works out fine. WiFi is good in the rooms. No AC, but the elevation is high enough that we didn't need it. Good launching point to visit Poas Volcano early in the morning. We would stay again."

"Excelente lugar y, en general, tuve una muy buena experiencia. Sin embargo, me decepcionó que el gimnasio no tuviera pesas libres disponibles. Elegí este lugar específicamente porque incluía gimnasio, así que fue una pena descubrirlo durante mi estancia. Lo menciono para que futuros huéspedes que estén considerando reservar por el gimnasio sepan que no podrán utilizar pesas libres para ejercitarse."

"Absolutely beautiful resort. The bathroom is fabulous. The bed is comfortable and the fireplace takes a chill off in the evening. The food in the restaurants is good with lots of choices. The grounds are very well maintained. The view is awesome and the park is amazing."

"Decent rooms for the price paid/ for a hostel. It could have a warmer vibe. However for travellers its the perfect place espacially for the price. And note that most importantly its highly secure both for the visitors and for the vehicle as it has the private and locked parcking which is rare in such a location. Great."
