"My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay at Josie’s Lake House in January 2026. From the moment we stepped inside, it was clear that Josie had gone above and beyond to make our stay feel special and comfortable. The house was immaculately clean, and the thoughtful touches, including a welcome sign, wine and snacks, coffee pods, and cooking essentials like olive oil, herbs, and spices really stood out.Waking up in the lake-view bedroom and watching the sunrise over the water was an absolute highlight.We loved making the most of the kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, then relaxing on the deck’s bean bag chairs while playing board games.Our evenings were spent cooking in Josie’s well-stocked kitchen and unwinding with Netflix on the huge TV.This was truly one of the best stays we’ve ever had. "The host was responsive and welcoming for our stay over Christmas 25. Many details had been considered including an artificial Xmas tree to put up and many chairs for guests to share drinks or a meal. "

"Had a nice stay. lovely and clean. It's pet friendly, but we did not realize there was no backyard as such for our dogs to hang out safely. It was a steep un-fenced area at the rear of the house, and not really a great place for pets."

The house was perfect as three bedrooms had ensuites and a separate toilet in the large laundry, huge lounge - dining - kitchen area with plenty of comfy seating, large well fenced yard with more comfy furnishings, close to many beaches and fun activites."
