"Amazing view of lake and nice tree top location, Stairs to property are steep but there is a hand rail, there were lights on the stairs but they no longer work so not for the faint hearted at night. House was clean but the bed was very low standard ie sore backs. Other furniture was I guess standard for a holiday house. Toliet seat was cracked so that was unpleasant, surely a cheap easy fix for owner. This house advertised a 9 star rating in 2017 on the door, its no longer that in 2025. Some care would get it back to that rating. "
"We had a delightful long weekend getaway in this wonderful property overlooking beautiful Smiths Lake. From the moment we entered we felt relaxed, with the open plan living drawing you immediately to the balcony and the captivating view beyond. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with a glass of wine, reading a book sitting by the lake and letting our dog Ryder go for a paddle. The property is well equipped (wonderful that they supplied kitchen staples like foil, salt and pepper and oil - thank you!). The fully enclosed yard was great for security for our dog and allowed us to relax all the more. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend and will definitely be back! "
"The house was pretty disappointing.Whilst it was fenced (pet friendly), it felt very basic and unloved.The rug in the lounge was dirty, there were no fly screens on the sliding door to the deck and one of the lounge windows. without air con, this made the house hot. The deck was covered in leaves and bark and no broom to sweep it.There were lots of spider webs inside and out. The timber floors inside aren't sealed, just raw timber, very odd.We won’t be rushing back."

"Couldn't believe the place was even nicer than the pictures. Booked as a surprise for a babymoon and my wife loved every minute of it. All the little details the host puts into the place really make the stay enjoyable and comfortable. Couldn't have been better, great value."

"Property was poorly cleaned, especially deck & pool. Leaf litter & cobwebs everywhere. We were told we couldn’t check in before 3.00pm because cleaning was required before!!Dishwasher wasn’t emptied. No checkin book explaining where everything was or how to operate things. Venue was peaceful & lovely!"
