About this property
Stunning views. Countryside walks or cycle trails. Nearby pubs and music venues
Mountain View is a beautifully furnished cottage in the small village of Queensbury. Roll down the blackout blind in the newly refurbished bedroom and snuggle in to the cozy double bed with crisp white sheets, perfect for a good night’s sleep. Lay back and soak in the bath or if you are short on time there is an over bath shower where you can enjoy the complimentary toiletries, and towels are provided. Prepare your meals in the open plan kitchen which boasts an oven & hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. Curl up and relax in the cosy living/ dining area. Enjoy watching the smart TV or just taking in the stunning views from the patio. The comfortable sofa bed has fresh linen on ready for your stay, just unfold when needed, and the blackout curtains will ensure a good nights sleep. Your duvet and pillows are freshly made up and stored in the dressing room wardrobe. You will have your own private space to dress and hang your clothing. Last but definitely not least are the patio doors that lead to the newly built decking area. Sit at the bistro table and drink in the stunning views. Bring your binoculars and watch the aeroplanes take off and land from Leeds Bradford Airport, and beyond, look out to the panoramic views. Watch the sun rise in the morning and see beautiful sunsets in the evening. If you like true country pubs there are two a short walk away. The Raggalds hosts a mouth watering carvery and has a delicious menu. It has tribute nights, Bonkers bingo and quiz nights plus much more. It is also a wedding venue. The Junction has a wonderful home cooked menu and has a beer garden to the rear with a play area. From the Junction pub there is a countryside walk which leads to The Great Northern Trail. There are many lovely walks within and around Queensbury. Ogden Water is a favourite for walkers a 10 minute drive away. Bradford centre is only 5 miles away and has been voted The City Of Culture, and Halifax town has much to offer. The Piece Hall has bars and shops and in December has a Christmas market. In the summer it holds concerts and hosts bands like Madness and Status Quo. Artists like Gary Barlow, Ollie Murs Ellie Sax and Fat Boy Slim will also be performing. Well worth a visit. Visit Howarth home of the Brontes, Skipton, Malham, The Yorkshire Dales all on your doorstep. Many reasons to return…
