Closest Golf Course is 1.8 miles away. Vintage 1950’s cottage. Located in a charming older neighborhood in historical Bradenton - mornings and evenings can be spent strolling along the waters edge and watching the boats in the River.

A short drive away is the pristine award winning Ana Maria island beaches.

This updated 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home includes a huge Florida room to relax, watch tv, or play a game of ping pong. The kitchen is fully equipped with items to enjoy your stay. Coffee starters are provided. The home has a fairly open floor plan with 2 living areas, a large dining area and a dedicated work space complete with docking station, laptop stand and extra monitor. The home is equipped with a netgear high speed router to help with work calls and streaming throughout the home. The large Florida room overlooks the backyard and dock on the canal. The Sofa bed in the Florida Room is a queen size and the sliding door leading to the rest of the house closes, so the room can function like a private bedroom as well. The trundle under the twin bed (In the 2nd bedroom) is a twin size.

Items for your little one includes: highchair pack and play (with sheets) baby gate Toddler utensils/plates/bowls Sippy cups Additional lock as well as alarm /chime at the top of the back door leading to the backyard.

beach gear (chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys, beach cart, etc). Lots of games for the whole family. The Riverwalk expansion is about a half mile down the road and is a full 3 miles long. The Pittsburgh Pirates practice less than 2 miles away and the famous 3 Keys Brewery is less than a quarter mile away and easily walkable. Cook on the grill, fish off the dock with the provided fishing poles, play a game of jenga, practice your putting, or just relax, overlooking the water. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Fish often jump out of the water on the canal, so don't be alarmed. Fun to sit and watch.

At night, be aware there are possums, racoons and other nocturnal creatures around the back and front yard. And it's Florida - plan on bugs all times of the year.

During busy season, plan to get to the beach early to find parking. Any time after 11am and parking fills up.

If you're in the mood for fine dining, Michael Johns (MJ's) Restaurant is 1.5 miles away. It's rated in the top 10 Sarasota/Manatee French-American Steakhouse.

Closest public boat ramp is right of 64 (3020 Manatee Ave E), less than a mile from the house.

The detached garage in the backyard is not part of the space available for rental. This is unavailable for use.

Check in instructions will be emailed to you a day or two before arrival with the code for the front door. Entire space minus the garage / locked closet in bathroom and hallway are included in this rental. Please make yourself at home. We are available during your stay for any questions you have or anything the house needs attention to. You can reach me via my cell or on the platform. Quiet neighborhood. Canal home on the Manatee River with access to the Gulf of Mexico. No boat docking allowed. Use of boat lift unavailable.

No diving in pool or water in the canal. NO ANIMALS in pool. $150 fine plus any damages incurred from animal in pool are responsibility of guest. Always supervise children. There is a fence separating the back patio from the pool area and canal in the backyard. There is an additional lock on the Florida room door at the top of the door that needs to remain locked at all times when children are present. Please leave the chime / alarm to back door set, so it sounds when the door is opened. There is an additional alarm chime on slider leading to Florida Room.

For pool: no glass of any kind outside. No running around pool. No jumping into pool. No standing on edge of pool. This is plastic and it will break. No animals of any kind in pool at any time. If found to have animal in the pool, there will be a $150 fine for the extra cleaning required as well as any damages to the pool.
