Yellowstone Crest · Yellowstone River frontage
The home was built fully ADA accessible - 1 level with a large bedroom with queen bed, smart tv and closet. Detached hall bath with full walk in shower is just across the hall. The open floorplan kitchen, dining and living area has high vaulted ceilings, game table, seating for 8 (plus the island), and another large smart tv.
The other bedroom at the other end of the house is extra large with 2 queen beds, and 4 single twin beds (2 bunk beds), and attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo.
The living area walks out to a nice oversized patio with outdoor dining table, adirondack chairs, a Traeger smoker, corn hole and bocce yard games. The yard is large and open - plenty of unfenced room for your dog(s) and kids to roam!
The property goes to the Yellowstone River and has a private bridge to get over a small irrigation ditch to get to the river. Private access for fishing for you! Check out this aerial video and home tour here: https://youtu.be/kP88AsUTk0U
Guests have access to the entire property, including the large shop / garage for your vehicle or extra hangout space.
The home will come well stocked with all the linens, towels, paper goods, soaps, detergents and more you need for an enjoyable stay.
The kitchen is STOCKED with all the dishes, serving ware, small appliances like blenders, crockpots, regular 12-pot coffee maker, toaster, sharp knives and more. You will want for nothing and never want to leave the simple, fun, clean and convenient Yellowstone Crest Lodge!
Pets are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee and pre-approval at booking!
For your convenience there is a keypad on the side door. The inside latch must be turned horizontally for the lock to work. Guests have full access to the entire property, half of the garage and the house.
We are always available for questions, but guests can check in and out using the keycode on the door.
Quiet, rural, you do see neighbors but all is safe and serene. Garbage service is not available at this location, there are several places nearby to dispose of your bagged garbage, a map will be provided.
You will need a vehicle in Montana. We always recommend a 4x4 for winter months. You can walk up and down the rural gravel road and walk to the fishing access. A vehicle is needed to get into town where you will find grocery, restaurants, entertainment and more.
The home is near a moving river, there is wildlife in the area including bears, snakes, deer and more. Please be aware.

The house was immaculately clean and well provisioned. We enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone Crest. The property was well cared for and we had lots of fun on the back patio.
Great location near the Yellowstone River with a senic view of the distant mountains. Very peaceful area. Location serves as a good home base and is easy trip to Bozeman, Livingston, and Yellowstone National Parks. Would certainly stay here again.
Enjoyed sitting out back enjoying a gentle breeze. Beautiful view from master bedroom.
Loved the location near the river and close enough to town and hiking.
My wife and I had our son and daughter-in-law join us for the week. We spent three days on the river on guided float trips to fly fish. Beautiful experience and caught some nice fish. Two visits to the park were great. The park is awesome and gigantic. The house is located on the river and was very well equipped and comfortable. Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Enjoyed Livingston, too.

This property is beautiful, the house is amazing! With that said we were disappointed in a couple areas. First, the picture of the Yellowstone river shown in the listing is not what you see or have access to from the house. There is a path from the house that leads to a gate. One the other side of the gate is a drop off to a very small area of the river. Second, the blinds and windows and lamps hadn’t been dusted in a long time. There was a glob of something sticky on one of the cupboards that we had to clean off. Again, the house itself was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay for the most part.
The cabin was cozy with beautiful Mountain Views. We booked last minute and everything went very smoothly. Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin.
This hone has it all! Beautiful views and very peaceful. We enjoyed everything! Will definitely be back. Thank you for all of the communication leading up to our arrival and afterwards. Highly recommend!!
Yellowstone Crest Lodge was just right for our family gathering. It was large and spacious with great access to the Yellowstone river and breathtaking views. The drive in along the Yellowstone river is also one of a kind. Saw golden and bald eagles which was a real treat.
After making a last minute decision to visit our son over the holiday weekend we booked this property. Each day we were here we appreciated the details and setting more and more. It turned out to be the perfect place for our stay and we truly appreciated the setting, the property itself, our hosts, and our travels.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The house had everything we need and some. Having access to one side of the garage was great as well. The kitchen was stocked and plenty of space in the house.
0We ended up driving to the river access, which was
Cabin was very clean. We drove up when it was cloudy and were surprised by the view of the mountains in the morning! The property is peaceful and enjoyed walking along the Yellowstone River to a near by park. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. I very much appreciated the hospitality---with the cozy robes, the welcome card and snacks. I will definitely stay again!

This was a great house. It is very private and secluded and has incredible views! It was clean inside, and had everything we needed for our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Yellowstone Crest. The house was perfect for us to spend some great family time enjoying the outdoors. The stars and the wilderness did not disappoint. The house was very well stocked and plenty big enough for our family of six (with room to spare). The TV wasn't turned on once and we hardly even picked up our cell phones because we were too busy playing games or exploring. Thanks for letting us stay!
This place is absolutely beautiful! Such a nice cabin! Lots of updates and the scenery is breathtaking! Only thing, the road to get there is 3 miles of gravel which needed to be grated and have gravel put down.. not the owners fault.. but it would be nice if that road was not so rough.
This place is fantastic! It’s close enough to town but is removed from the hustle and bustle. The home was very quaint and we saw deer everyday. Access to the river is very easy and the fishing was good. My dog loved the large back yard to run and play. Star gazing at the house is unlike anything else. We sat on the patio nearly every night and watched the Milky Way drift by punctuated by shooting stars. Thank you for offering this property. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

All members of my family enjoyed the lodge. Family dinners and a game night were all easy in the well-appointed kitchen and large dining table. The hosts have thought of everything needed for a comfortable stay. A good number of color-coded towels and higher end bed linens were noticed. The photos of the house, the patio and outdoor spaces were accurate to what was available. The outdoor patio and yard added to our amazing stay.
Location is great, house is great. Linens are nice, lots of extra pillows and towels. We had a wonderful time. Our only unmet expectation was that when we ran out of hand soap at the end of the first week, we were told that we were expected to replace it, which contradicts the listing and check in directions to bring nothing but clothes and gear because everything else is provided. The management company did bring out extra Traeger pellets and trash bags (there were none). Overall a great stay, but if you (like me) try to pack everything you need, throw in extra toiletries.
Pictures don’t do this property justice! The lodge is stunning, comfortable, and laid out to accommodate a large family (8 of us). Bring your camera - wildlife everywhere. Close to town (10 mins), nice drive to North YNP entrance (1 hour), plenty of fishing!!!! Kitchen has everything you need. For you parents with little ones - need to make sure the don’t go past the cut grass area alone. There are skunks, deer, elk, bear, coyote, and snakes - that’s what we saw. We fished off the bridge and caught trout. We’ll return here again.
