The Pale Morning Dun is located just 18 miles from Bozeman, MT.
This 7 person capacity house is in the small town of Manhattan, MT, and is perfectly located for those who like to fly fish or participate in other outdoor adventure activities and enjoy being in a small town neighborhood & local community. This house was perfect for our stay in the area. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, fun week. Clean, organized, excellent hosts!Hope to return again as soon as possible.
This was our second stay and it was great! The house is perfect and is an awesome location. We enjoyed exploring Manhattan, Three Forks, Bozeman, and Big Timber during our time!
Fabulous place with wonderful hosts. Fantastic location. Quiet (except for an occasional train which we don't mind). Going back for another trip next year. Love the place.Rooms are spacious. Beds are extremely comfortable. Washer & dryer are in the house.

The Fly Fishing house was amazing. Everything we needed to cook a meal was available. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable, and there was even a fan in each room. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again!
The Pale Morning Dun was ideal for my wife and I. We have family in Manhattan so the location was perfect. This home has a unique history and rustic charm. We really enjoyed the homey feel and our host, Joe, was friendly and attentive to our needs. The beds were comfy and the kitchen and pantry well equipped. Walking distance to everything that this friendly town has to offer.
We always enjoy our stay at the Manhattan home. Joe, the host goes the extra step to make sure the place feels like home. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. We will definitely stay again.
We enjoyed spending time with family who live in Manhattan. We attended our grandson graduation and watching our other grandkids play soccer and baseball.
Very clean house and enjoyable accommodations.
This property was perfect for two friends catching up! Very quiet location, centrally located, and the long table was perfect for us to each have a spot to spread out and read/craft! I loved the post and beam architecture in the front of the house!
Cute house in a lovely little (somewhat rural) town, which is centrally located to the rivers for fishing and mountains for exploring. The house has everything you need to make your trip a pleasant experience. Joe and Alissa are always available to make your stay comfortable.
My mom and I enjoyed our stay during the Manhattan Potato Festival! Comfy home, enjoyed the front porch and deck and the ability to walk only one black to the downtown! The hosts were kind and responsive. This was my moms second stay here and we both recommend.
We had a great 2-night stay here, everything was clean and ready for us at check in. The property owner contacted us ahead of time and communicated well, and the space itself was very comfortable.
You can tell that the owners have put a lot of love and hard work into the space with unique and hand-made touches everywhere. We would absolutely book again if in the Bozeman area.
Great house in a great location. Manhattan is small and full of character. Walk to eateries, coffee shop, and pubs. The house was clean and nice. It was a great base for our hiking and fishing adventures. The host was attentive and provided clear communication. I highly recommend it.
Our stay was so great! The home was spacious with plenty of amenities and sleeping space. It was clean and well kept. Manhattan is the cutest town to unwind and disconnect! Close enough to Yellowstone, Bozeman and the airport and all of the necessities are also right there in town- grocery, bar, restaurant & coffee! Joe was the perfect host, friendly and was available to answer questions but not intrusive of our stay. Would definitely book again!
Loved our stay. Manhattan is a sweet little town and close to all the things you want to visit. I would definitely stay here again in the spring, winter, or fall. We were here when it was in the 90s and without air-conditioning it got pretty warm inside the house. Our hosts were kind and welcoming, and I loved the whole vibe of the house. Beds were comfy, kitchen well equipped, and there is a great little local market within walking distance.
We thought it was perfect. It was very clean and comfortable. We loved the decor with all the wood in the house. You can tell it is an older house but it is very well maintained. I would say it is in better condition than most renral houses i have been to.

Owners Joe and Alissa are fantastic. They are thete for you. Even cleaned the snow for you. Will be back.
This is my 2nd time at this place. A fantastic house and location for a stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze.
House was clean and well stocked. House is in a great location for us and was convenient to fishing, sight seeing, shopping, airport, etc. Loved staying here last year and loved it even more this year. I will be back again next year for sure. Joe is a great host. Thanks Joe.
We were so happy to find a great place to stay near our community that we are building in. We are building in Gallatin River Ranch and we were looking to stay in town while we are having to come in and check on the progress. We can’t wait to have family also use this property. Thanks Joe for communicating via text to give us updates.
We spent a week here while snowboarding at Big Sky. The property is super unique with all the reclaimed materials used to renovated. There is a little photo album so you can look at the renovations made.
With 5 in our party, finding a place with at least 4 beds can be rough. It was warm, cozy, close enough to get to the mountain easily, and super easy access to the freeway.
Joe was absolutely great with communication prior to and during our trip.
5 stars, Definitely recommend!
This house is really cool. You can tell they put a lot of thought into it. It has a very well stocked kitchen so it was easy to prepare our meals here. The only thing was it has no a/c and it was 95 while we were there so it was pretty warm sleeping. But most of the time in Montana is not that hot so just something to consider. Manhattan is a really cool little town. Hosts are very responsive and kind.
We celebrated a winter graduation and an early family Christmas in this wonderful house. The hosts are super responsive, replaced the vacuum within minutes when the belt broke on the one we were using. They have furnished the kitchen quite extensively. Beds were very comfortable. The gas fireplace is lovely and provides great ambiance while also being the primary source of heat. We enjoyed this property and appreciated the hosts.
