"A lovely apartment right in the centre of Bowness-On-Windermere. The accommodation was spotless, cleaning spray, washing up liquid and cloths were provided. The bed was lovely and comfortable. People have mentioned the stairs up to the apartment. They caused us no problem but if people have mobility problems I can understand they might be a problem. If we return to the area we would stay here again. I am glad I didn’t book somewhere in Windermere, this was five minute walk to the lake. "

"Room was clean, towels were not changed daily and tea/coffee facilities were not replenished every day, luckily I had taken my own. Staff very friendly, breakfast was good with lots to choose from. Pool area was good main pool was bright but a bit dark and dangerous in areas, the hot tub was not very clean or clear you could not see the steps to get in, needs lighting to see where you are going, health a safety hazard. Nice to have a bar on the poolside, and it stayed open till late. Lots of people in the on-site pub in bathrobes eating and drinking as you had to go through pub to get to the pool. Good in the pub had a good variety to choose from reasonable priced. All in all it was a nice hotel and a pleasant stay, but the pool area definitely needs to a bit brighter to see where you are going."

"Room was nice but the walls are very thin and we were woken up by late night arrivals on both nights who has some drinks in them. Staff were lovely and breakfast was great. A little annoyed that we payed £10 in order to use the hotel car park but only managed to once in the entire trip as the car park was always over full."

"The location of the property was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and trails. Having the parking permit was also a bonus. The kitchen was not clean and we were greeted by a dishwasher full of disgusting dishes. The pots and pans cupboard smelled disgusting therefore we bought our own frying pan and pots. There was no hand washing soap and 1 roll of toilet paper, no paper towel. We had to go to a local tesco to buy supplies. We didn’t expect a whole weeks supply but a few rolls of each would’ve been considerate. The upstairs main bedroom had a lot of stains on the carpet but other than these complaints the bedding was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A little TLC and a good clean would make it a 5 star property."
