Overall, great location and clean hotel. The room was below standard I would expect for over $200 per night. Have stayed in other hotels within the vicinity and they compare to this one for less. Check-in was friendly, checkout was ok.

Staff when I checked in was good. After that representation at the from desk was 50/50 on Sunday whether they were there or not. Everything was clean, no issues. Did not use the pool, so no comment. It looked fine though when viewing it from the elevator lobby. Didn’t bring a pet, so no comment on pet friendliness. Breakfast at the bistro was good. It must have been the female staff members last day because she was somewhat vocal about it when talking to her male staff member who prepared the food. Just keep that talk to the back of house and not in the public areas…not professional on her, not a reflection of the hotel.

Even Split: 3 pros/3 cons

2 night stay for family of 4 during road travel. Booked based on 3 priorities: indoor pool, bathtub in room, noon check out. These all met expectations. Disappointed by 3 things that shouldn’t need to be considered when booking: odor in room (mix of musty, burnt, and possibly chlorine or a cleaner/deodorizer), loud HVAC floor/exterior wall unit that struggled to cool the room (aside from not being central/equipped with ducts, it was partially blocked unit that housed fridge, cabinet, and desk… it was working so hard it may have been a culprit to the room odor), uncomfortable beds (very little padding on top, could feel individual springs). Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with nice layout- especially the loveseat with rolling ottoman, and a table that stored under the wall unit as a desk space that could be rolled out for use as regular table. Ok for a night or two as-is if not sensitive to the odor. Would be great if the three basics are improved.

Great place to stay!

The hotel was easy to get to, and the room was very clean and modern. We did a king size bed and it was very comfortable. There was an array of dining option in the nearby area. There was also on on-site bar that was convenient, however there was an issue with their credit card machine which resulted in me being charged 3 times. They assured me only one charge wold go through, however 3 of the 4 actually sent through. When I called to resolve the issue, they were unable to "see" the charges from their side. I ended up calling the credit card company and they were able to resolve promptly. My advice to the staff would be to slow down when there are issues. I was able to see the pending charges building up and when I brought it their attention,they wanted to keep running the card. Aside from the issue at the bar, everything else was great and we would stay there again.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and always kept our room clean and accommodated for the three nights we stayed in the bowling Green area. The room layout was fantastic and they even left us a welcome bag full of peppermints and Hershey kisses which I thought was a very nice touch! The hotel is in a great area and there are many dining options right next to it to go enjoy a nice dinner each night! I can't say enough about this hotel, we've stayed in several during our travels and I would rebook this hotel room every time because of the friendly and attentive staff, cleanliness and location. Thank you Courtyard Marriott Bowling Green!
