"Hyatt House is located at a very convenient location in downtown Scottsdale. Near Old Town and many restaurants. Staff accommodated us for an early check-in. Complimentary breakfast was better than many other hotels we have stayed. Must realize that this is a three-story hotel without an elevator and room changes are done every other day. We were there three nites and were on first floor. The bar is next to the check-in where we were having a drink, and a number of arrivals were not aware of these limitations and somewhat upset to learn as they arrived"

"This was a central location and reminded me of mid-century design. Very quiet and the resturant was good except for the slight delays in getting your meal. We had a room by the pool and it was great. "

"Booked last minute through a third-party based on decent reviews, but this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The property was extremely dark with minimal lighting, which felt unsafe upon arrival. The room was 83° with a non-working AC despite being set to 64°—completely unacceptable for Arizona. The front door was also warped and didn’t fully seal. Staff came to replace the thermostat batteries, but that didn’t fix the issue. They manually turned on the wall unit, but it shut off again within minutes. Trying to resolve the issue was frustrating. The front desk didn’t answer the room phone, and I had to call from my cell to get through. They offered to move me to another room but refused a refund, and there was no maintenance available that night. While documenting everything, I found mold on the door frame and ceiling near the bathroom, along with a visibly dirty chair. During checkout, the situation worsened when the receptionist became rude, raised her voice, and used profanity. Overall, this property is not as advertised and feels more like a low-grade motel than a resort. I would not stay here again."
