"The cottage is very nice. The kitchen was great. We needed a place for a last minute vacation for our family of 4 and this fit the bill. The setting is quiet. We were not able to spend any time on the pond but it looked very nice. We spent most of time at Gooch Beach in Kennebunk. The travel time to the beach was the only bummer but we knew this going in and it by no way reflects anything about the cottage. Fortunately the route to Gooch Beach avoids much of the heavy traffic on Rt1 in Wells so that made it more tolerable. Making the last minute vacation plans were quite easy and checkin/checkout were a breeze. All-in-all, we had a pleasant experience."

"We had a wonderful stay. The swimming is everything I wanted. I brought my daughter and granddaughter (21mo). I want them to have the experience of being in a Maine camp on the lake. We swam, walked, went to our favorite places for seafood, watched the sunset and looms from the porch and slept so good. Thanks! "

"Check in was fine but property was subpar. Rust at every sink and in the shower. The water smelled of rotten eggs. There old fishing lines with hooks all over the dock. Also there was no floating dock as pictured. Fire pit is rusted out and falling apart so we didnt dare use it. Upstairs TV which is the main living area is really only for movies so bring some DVDs incase its a rainy day. Neighbors children are very loud from sunrise until they go to bed. You will also hear the grandmother and grandfather frequently yelling. If that doesnt hinder on your relaxing the kids will constantly be talking to you if you go outside and unfortunately does not respond to boundaries. Im not talking like once or twice but constantly wanting to interact. Also on check out day I needed to make two trips before leaving. And when I cam back to get the rest of my stuff (2 hours until check out time) the neighbor had folded up and was carrying my very large party float across the lawn. I would not recommend this place to anyone but most definitely not for what I paid. I have tried to upload photos but they will not accept them. "

"Management and staff were great! Really made us feel welcome. Particularly, Margot (Assistant Mngr). It was a peaceful, restful stay. It was nice to disconnect from our busy life for a couple of days. So much more enjoyable than if we would have stayed in a hotel as we were able to enjoy the outdoors with comfort."
