We were sadly unable to visit because of the Corona Virus 😡 but we spent the week imagining a perfect week enjoying empty slopes with perfect snow, enjoying this wonderful apartment with amazing facilities and views. We thank the owner so much for her full reimbursement and we really hope we can rebook next year and enjoy it all for real. xxx Ross and Carol Newark UK

Fantastic property with a hugely helpfull owner.
This property is located in the Chantel area of Les Arc 1800 which is situated slightly above the main area. The property is extremely comfortable, easy to get too and was spacious enough for the four of us. It is extremely well decorated and was supplied with everything that you could wish for. The owner answered any questions very quickly even my silly ones when I was tired. The parking is under the buildings and is fairly easy to access. Worth noting though that the entry door to the carpark is 1.9 metres and my car with roofbox was 2.2. Not an issue just took the roofbox off. The location was great being just up the slopes from the ski school and lifts, an easy ski down in the morning and an easy return in the afternoon where you can either ski to the door or get a short gondola ride to within 100m of the door and then walk. There are a few small shops, restaraunts and bars in Chantel but we found the ones in the main 1800 area more to our liking for crepes and a vin chaud (the Miam). We hired the children's Skis from the skiset shop in Chantel and although the shop was helpful with some boot issues the skis were not great and they were put out we had not ordered in advance. The skiing in Les Arc is fantastic plenty of runs to both challenge and flatter we loved it and the weather was superb, the best we have ever had in the alps. I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to visit the area.

Cozy 2 bedroom Flat on the slopes
Excellent position, aspect and really comfortable. Lovely and warm. We did truly ski in and ski out although the ski locker is the level below and not heated unfortunately, but it didn’t cause us any problems. Lovely hot water for the bath whenever we needed it. Went to the bakers in the block above every morning which cooked fresh croissants l, almond croissants, pain aux chocolate, pain aux raisin, baguettes, donuts, fresh orange juice etc. Able to easily use TV and DVD player to watch our films. Understandably the TV channels were all French. Walking distance to two lovely restaurants (Le Chalet de Candice in the block just above and Voga Goga a little up from that - opposite the cable car that runs from 8:45am until 23:00 between Chantel area and Arc 1800 - used it a lot). We went on the Eurostar ski train and would recommend booking a taxi to get to and from resort as soon as possible as we left it too late and had trouble. The apartment feels up market and the owner provided all the information we needed for our holiday. We would absolutely recommend this apartment! Thank you so much Natalie for a wonderful 2018 Christmas!

Cute, cosy and convenient apartment. Great mountain biking base.
Had a fantastic time mountain biking in Arcs 1800. The apartment is well situated just above the main village. The covered car park is close by with a bike rack in the car park. The apartment is comfortable, cosy and well set up for 2 couples to share. Being on the ground floor there is access to a garden from the balcony. The cycling in Les Arcs is fantastic with lots of varied terrain with each village having its own unique feel. A bike wash in the village or a hose would be a welcome addition for after those muddier rides. We also took advantage of some of the other activities in the village including swimming and archery which really added to our stay. The only things lacking were WiFi (although we did have 4G cover at the apartment), a bike wash and a barbecue. With these easily a 5 star review. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again and could happily have stayed for a second week.

We loved its cosy atmosphere!
Well equipped and very comfortably furnished, we felt immediately at home here. The owner was very organised in making sure we would know how to access the apartment and we appreciated the fact that she contacted us at the start of our stay to see how we had settled in. I would definitely recommend this apartment for its accessibility to excellent skiing !

Lovely cosy apartment right on the slopes
We had a lovely holiday in this wonderful little apartment. We are a family of four and it was ideal with enough space to relax, cook, eat and store all our stuff. The apartment was really well equipped, nice and warm and has fantastic storage areas. It is located in the Chantel area, just uphill of the main part of Arc 1800. You can ski in and out easily. Drop down to the Vagere lift to quickly get up and across to Vallandry/TransArc or walk up a little way and go across to Carrelley to get over into Arc 1950/2000. Coming back, just keep to the right of the Alpage run and you can ski directly to the chalet. There are a couple of ski rental shops in the Chantel area - we used the skiset one just around the corner and it worked well. There is a small shop (The Next Door) that sells bread/pastries in the complex and a very small supermarket (Le Petit Marche) one block further up the hill. Also a couple of restaurants - we went to the Voga Goga bar for lunch most days, it was good food and quite reasonably priced (for a ski resort). If you want a bigger supermarket you need to go down to 1800 proper where there is a Spar and Sherpa. You can take the Dahu cable car (which isn't on the piste map for some reason) which runs late into the evening. We were there at Feb half term and the queue back up was around 20mins which a little long in the cold!! We ended up driving down to the village where you can park pretty close to the Spar and picking up heavy items (water, beer, OJ, wine etc.) in one go. Another option if you have a car is to go the Lidl in Bourg St Maurice. This was our first visit to Les Arcs and loved the ski area. It is massive and has a great set of reds and blues. Queues at half term were surprisingly good, a few ten min waits at Derby/Grizzly. We avoided the bottom TransArc station - go up Vagere and ski across to the mid station to get on quickly. The Bellecote gondola was a cold 25min wait. We only did Aquille Rouge at lunch time as that is a slow queue at any time. Only minor negatives: - The ski locker was inconvenient being a couple of levels downstairs - Getting the cable car to the supermarkets was a bit of a pain (other options above though) - The second bedroom is a double, not a twin (my fault for not looking) but would be good to have had two duvets so siblings could share without arguing - our son ended up sleeping on the sofa which was fine. - No wi-fi in the building - I think they are working on this.

Excellent apartment
We really, really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is well equipped with 2 double bedrooms, each with a double bed, very nice quality bedding. The kitchen area was very well equipped, lots of appliances, microwave, induction hob, full oven, kettle, toaster, pierrade, fondue set etc. Loads of clothing storage. Lots of hooks to hang up stuff. Lashings of hot water at anytime of day - washing machine and tumble drier very useful, we liked having the additional en-suite shower and basin to the main bedroom. Sitting room is very comfortable loads of cushions and throws, plenty of seating for us. We took movies on a laptop and an HDMI cable to watch from the TV. Above all a very warm and a brilliantly quiet apartment. We bought a week of internet 45 euros for 5 applicances from the local Neospot supplier which could stream radio, though not video for us. Underground car park nearby with allocated space, and very efficient check-in by the agent. We had ski in ski out for part of the week, until the snow melted. The apartment is in an upper part of Arcs 1800, so you can ski down to the main town in 2 mins and you have to take a bus or the Dahu bubble car to get back up to the apartment complex from the main town, most of the time the bubble is fine, though in the kids hols there can be up to a 40 min wait at lunchtime and late afternoon. There are a couple of restaurants and bars with in a walk and a deli and breadshop. There are 2 small well appointed supermarkets and loads of deli's, restaurants and bars in the main town. Kids thought the ESF instructors were really good and went to the new swimming complex one afternoon and liked it. Great place.

Excellent
Excellent apartment which was very well equipped. On our arrival the apartment was very clean and tidy. Great position within the resort for ski in and ski out and to access the foot lift into the main resort. The caretaker, Mrs Leroy was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and helped us out with every request, she couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely book again.
