Relaxing Modern Basement Suite w/Private Entrance

Fully renovated private walkout basement offers a relaxing modern decor, with all the amenities you will need for both short and long-term stays. The space is located in east Boulder and boasts easy walking access to open space trails, 3 miles to the Boulder Reservoir and just 1.5 miles to 4 Gunbarrel breweries. The house has a large backyard that is shared with the homeowner and a very friendly wirehaired pointing griffon pup. Other dogs will be considered but must be friendly with other dogs.

This place is a GEM close to Boulder!

We were three longtime friends on a girls’ weekend with a side-agenda of visiting with my student at CU Boulder. The space was beautiful, just as the pictures show, nicely decorated and appointed. Plenty of towels, pillows, and kitchen items. We did not do any cooking, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. It has a wonderful space to relax and chat as well. Beds were VERY comfortable. The view from the yard was beautiful! Location was perfect, just outside of Boulder, but easy access to Pearl Street, CU Boulder & Folsom Field. We enjoyed a morning walk at the nearby reservoir as well. Host has put much thought and consideration into the space and communication was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

Hidden gem

This basement apartment is beautifully decorated and super cozy and comfortable. It’s an amazing use of the space! We did not use the outdoor space but the owners are lucky to have a nice sized yard with a view (there is a main road hidden behind their fence). Two things for potential future guests to be aware of: the walkway to the backyard basement entrance is not smooth (pavers and dirt) so rolling bags is more challenging and when in the basement the owners and their dogs can be heard upstairs (didn’t bother us). The drive to Boulder is easy and 10-15 minutes depending on where you are going. I liked being in a quiet area outside the hustle and bustle. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would 100% recommend!

Boulder/Gunbarrel fun plus family visit

Immaculate, nicely furnished apartment. Kitchen is stocked with everything necessary for meal prep and having a washer and dryer on site was very helpful because part of the purpose of our visit was to help our son and daughter-in-law with some DYI projects. The location is nice and quiet plus close to one of our favorite bakeries in Longmont: Babbett’s. Other good bakeries in the Boulder area are Lucky’s and Moxie. There are some good farm stands nearby too (if you want fresh veggies).

A home away from home

We recently had our floors redone so needed a local place to stay. When I saw the pictures of this place, I could tell that someone with a keen eye design the space. I've never been in a basement that felt as spacious and clean as this did. All of the choices are high end and our stay was brief but awesome. Our dog also loved playing with the owners two dogs. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. :)
