"Clean room staff excellent very comfy bed breakfast good for continental"

"The apartment was clean with great amenities. The check in process was thorough and clear although the first lock was tricky to work out at first, once I worked it out, it was fine after that. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it felt a bit stuffy and it would've been good to be able to open a window for airflow however the windows wouldn't open. Also it was quite noise with people going by and knocking really loudly on other doors in the area, so loud that we thought someone was knocking our door at 4am so went to check. However as a whole the stay was very pleasant and great for what we needed, the beds were really comfortable. I would recommend and stay again, but remember my ear plugs next time!"

"Room was clean and the staff were friendly. Only problem was that the heating was on all the time so had to have the window open all the time. Didn't sleep very well as too hot"

"The code for the wasn’t sent to me, but a phone call fixed that. There are no staff so everything is done by phone or message. Car park is nearby and reasonable. The room was fine with a good shower although it smelt as if someone had been smoking on the landing (not the room) Breakfast is very basic, toast, yoghurt Nescafé and cereals. But that was ok. It’s fine for two nights but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay for a lot longer. Good value overall if basic. "

"We only stayed for one night, and upon arrival we discovered that there are some substantial building works adjacent to the hotel. This means that the hotel car park is limited to even fewer spaces. Upon arrive at the hotel we had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to check us in. Our room was on the first floor facing the buidling works. Please note that there is no lift in the hotel that we found, so this may impact you if you have mobility problems. It was a warm day, and the room was a lot warmer and even with the window open there was no way to cool the room down, no A/C or fan in the room. The room was small and somewhat cramped and the furniture had seen better days and needed to be replaced in all honesty. The bathroom was modern and clean and did have some nice smellies in there, however we discovered that there was a major leak under the sink, and this meant water flooded into the drawer in the unit and then onto the floor, we think that had been this way for a while. Sleep was erratic as we had to leave the window open to keep us cooler, but the noise late at night from the people leaving the night club down the road was so bad. I know the hotel can't be to blame for this but it did impact our sleep and therefore our stay. We did use the hotel restaurant and the food was good, but service was slow and we wait around 35 minutes for our main course. Would we stay again - probably not. Well not unless it had a good makeover."

"Hot tub was leaking and filter was broken, two of the outside lights were broken, kitchen tap was loose , one of the showers brackets was broken so u couldn’t put the hose back up, there was only 4 outside chairs and there was nine of us. Nice location , plenty of space , nice and clean lodge, couldn’t fault the staff"
