We loved the quiet neighborhood and fully equipped kitchen. With a new Trader Joe’s not far away, it was super convenient to get the refrigerator stocked and ready for meal preparation. I liked the outdoor grill and, as a family, we utilized and really enjoyed the breakfast area. The upstairs bedrooms were comfortable. Television and WiFi were excellent. This was a great place for a family get together. West Roxbury is a very nice upper middle class neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised over and over again. Thanks to Susan, our pleasant and very responsive host.

Nice place. Had a nice size kitchen and 2 dinning areas. Each room had a TV and the beds were super comfortable with plenty of pillows. It was chilly in Boston so we had to use the heat and the house heated up quickly. The neighborhood is very quiet and close to many places to eat (and within walking distance). The host was readily available and checked up on us ensuring all our needs were met - this was a nice added touch.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The house is adorable and located in a beautiful suburban neighbourhoid. It was an excellent home base from which to explore Boston. This home was immaculately clean, large, and quite comfortable. The immediate neighborhood is a very nice one and we felt really safe. It's about a 20 minute walk from the main street of the town, which is quite nice and not touristy, and we had lots of good food and there's also a great grocery store. We also walked to the train into Boston, which is just a few minutes further from there. One consideration in renting this home is that all of the bedrooms are up steep stairs, so it may not work well for families with younger children or for older people (which we just about are!)

On the location was beautiful and the host was responsive. Everything was clean and seemed to be maintained to a family host standard. We had three adults and two in elementary age children. I especially enjoyed the office space because I did have to work well on the trip and the ability to close the door and to have the connectable monitor was great!!! I would love to stay here again!

Great spot for family vacation

Adorable house in a great neighborhood. We enjoyed the house, the location was excellent and allowed us to visit all of the New England states during our vacation. Downtown West Roxbury was about a 1/2 mile away and was a cute town with great restaurant options and a nearby grocery store and Starbucks. We enjoyed the neighborhood- nice and quiet, out of the bustle of downtown Boston, and a great area for evening walks. We had a family of 4 including two older teenagers and really enjoyed this location.

Friends Northeast Trip

Marathon Weekend

We booked the house to keep the family together while in town for the marathon. The location was far enough out to allow us to relax before and after the race and close enough to the bus routes and T lines for groups to venture out without the car. the house had everything we needed, Susan was quick with her communications when we had questions. definitely would recommend.

Great Stay

I have a son who attends Babson College. He turned 21 on 11/19 and he was not coming home for Thanksgiving. So we took the double celebration to him. We did not want to stay in a hotel and be on top of each other for 5 days and four nights, so we thought we would stay at a VRBO Residence. The stay was fantastic, everything we needed was in place, everyone had their own space. I am now a believer. The space was exactly what we needed and wanted. Excellent Stay!
