  • Newly renovated cute 2 bedroom harbor beach cottage in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Marblehead, MA. "Sea La Vie" is just steps from Marblehead harbor, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shopping and a quick stroll to the beach.

    There are 2 parking spots in a private driveway, but if you do not have a car no problem! You can check-out breathtaking views of Marblehead Harbor right around the corner. The cottage is located a few blocks from some of the best restaurants and shops in town. The property is within close proximity and walking distance (less than a mile) to some of Marblehead's most popular beaches and historic Old Town.

    This adorable harborside cottage has it all. Here is a list of amenities:

    - Modern, fully stocked kitchen with updated appliances and quartz countertops designed for cooking & entertaining - and a Nespresso machine!
    - Updated technology including: key-free lock system (with personal entry code), Ring doorbell system, Nest thermostats, Echo smart speakers, Free High-speed internet & Wifi.
    - Living room with plenty of comfortable seating, 55" Roku Smart TV, books, playing cards and board games.

This was the absolute best place we could’ve stayed. The house itself is so pretty and clean!! We had plenty of space and it was decorated beautifully. The neighborhood is stunning and the neighbors are so friendly! Communication with the host was fantastic and we definitely had everything we needed and more. We cannot recommend this place enough and will definitely be back when we come back to the area!! Such a fabulous and memorable vacation.

We loved our time on this sweet street and neighborhood. Kitchen and dining room table area are perfect for visiting. Outdoor space with comfy chairs was a bonus. Excellent location for walking and running. We were in Marblehead for an event and had a great time with this homebase that really felt like home.

Charming cottage - great location

We loved our 3 night stay in Marblehead. The property was in excellent condition, the location worked well for our purposes and the home was well equipped with anything one might need for a short stay. We especially appreciate access to a large washer and dryer and the off street parking. The location is very walkable. It was more than I wanted to spend, however I think it was worth the price.

Wonderful little cottage in a lovely, quiet New England seaside village

Everything about our stay was terrific! The house is old and feels historical, but it's also renovated and has all the modern amenities. It's comfortable and quiet and perfect for relaxing, cooking and enjoying time with the people you love. And it's just a short walk to the ocean and some great local Marblehead shops and restaurants. It is also a quick drive over to Salem, which was great. We also drove up to New Hampshire and Maine for a day trip, and that was a quick drive up as well. Fantastic location, beautiful home, highly recommend! And if I'm up in the area again, I will definitely stay here again.

Marblehead & Salem Family Vacation

This was our first vacation to the area. It is absolutely beautiful! And the rental home was fabulous & very clean! It is centrally located within walking distance to the ocean. And just a 15 minute drive to Salem. Our vacation was centered upon Salem, but the town of Marblehead is quaint with cute shops too. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Girls salem trip

Wow! I can not say enough good things. We were nervous about staying out of Salem.. when that’s what we came to see. Marblehead was amazing . Quiet, safe, peaceful. We could have spent a whole day exploring Marblehead if he had time! Shubies grocery had everything we needed. The staff was beyond lovely, including Mr. Shubie himself. Lol! Girls trip… all healthcare workers… needing some fun, quiet, good food and hilarious moments. This beautiful home had everything we needed for the perfect trip. And given that we ate .. and drank.,, in the house a lot… they had more than enough dish ware to create beautiful meals and the happiest of happy hours. A perfect reprieve from the craziness of Salem…. And our lives;) Exactly what we needed. Thank you.

Relaxing, Upscale, quick walk to downtown

My family had a great trip and loved this property! Decor is really beautiful and simple and coastal- all bringing in the local feeling of this New England coastal town. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed. My niece slept on the pull out couch (15yo) and was very comfortable. The beds upstairs also gave great nights’ sleep and we were all happy. This house was just enough for us (2 adults and 4 kids 15,13,10,7.) We kept noticing little pops of character and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Cute decorations and quality amenities! There were THREE different coffee makers! And since I love coffee, this impressed me! (A regular machine, a keurig and a nespresso.) My 7yo daughter was up early every day, and we found a stash of board games to keep us busy and quiet. Also, this home is nicely located for visiting Salem and Boston. We did some history and ghost tours in Salem and also visited some Boston colleges. This property is only about a block from the town center, too, and there is great shopping and plenty of food- coffee, boba, cafe and snack options! A short walk in the opposite direction put us on the water- so beautiful! Would certainly come here again! Thank you to the hosts for sending a warm welcome email with recommendations for where to go and being available to us- though we didn’t need anything during the stay- everything was already taken care of for us!!
