Leslie's Retreat: Spacious home ideally located to everything

Gorgeous 5 bedroom (4 on the second floor and 1 basement suit) home located in a historically significant area of Salem North River. Short walking to all the excitement Salem has to offer with trolley and tours, Museums, Galleries, Fine Dining, Beaches and the Salem Water Ferry into Boston. The home is fully furnished with a combination new luxurious and antique pieces. The kitchen is a gourmet chef's dream. Featuring a gas cook top with grill and griddle attachments, electric double ovens and 2 sinks for easy preparation of meals. Fabulous flow on the first floor between the dining room, living room and kitchen making it ideal to entertain. Many satisfied international families and others from across the country have made this home a destination for family celebrations and holidays.

On the second floor there are 4 bedrooms, two bedrooms with queen beds, one bedroom with a king bed, and the forth has a twin bunkbed (crib available if needed). All are outfitted with comfortable clean and crisp linens and air conditioner units and in the cooler weather you can cuddle up to down filled duvet comforters and get a good nights rest. Cable television and ROKU and wireless access through out the home and streaming. After enjoying the vibrant town of Salem you can come back kick back on the front porch or walk to the nearby train station and in 30 minutes arrive in downtown Boston for more adventures.

Basement includes a queen bed, pull out couch, laundry room, and full bathroom.

Please note that this home is a non-smoking premise.

The house is stocked with just about everything that is in normal home! Very clean. There's a park just down the block on the water. We walked everywhere! The owner is awesome, we had questions and she replied quickly.

We had a family wedding in Beverly and needed a pet friendly House as we have 2 dogs that go everywhere with us. The House was great, plenty of room for all of us, very roomy, and comfortable rooms , comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning as it was a scorcher one day, so close to everything, parks, stores, Salem Center, coffee shops, restaurants, and the wedding venue. Meg, property owner was incredible, stopped by to meet us, made sure we got in OK. Just a great get-away for all of us. Thanks Meg!!!

Super nice and close to all of the fun

Booked this place for our girls weekend from Michigan to Salem, the owner was incredibly accommodating. Comfy beds! Clean and very pleasant to stay in! Everything fun to do was a 30 minute or less walk! Highly recommend it here if you’re looking for somewhere nice to stay in Salem!

Great experience

Home was perfect for our family get together. Location was super close to downtown shops and tours. Plenty of towels and blankets. Lots of hot water for our group of 10. We had 3 vehicles and had a pretty easy time street parking one. Check in email was detailed and helpful. Check out process was simple, for which we were very grateful. Great stay overall!

Perfect weekend retreat

Awesome!!!

We stayed for the weekend with friends and family we havent seen for some time. It was the perfect location with a short walk to down town Salem and the T into boston. The property was extremely clean and well kept. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect house for family and pets

With seven family members, aged 3 to 67, we were all comfortable for our week stay during super cold temps and a snowstorm. Plenty of room for a couple of dogs too. The house was welcoming, didn't worry about breaking anything or ruining furniture. I was very grateful for the opportunity to hang out with my family and grandkids without worry, and enjoyed the ambiance of Salem very much. Thanks to Meg and co.!

Nice house, 1/2 mile walk from downtown, easy to navigate. We only booked the upstairs so had to ensure laundry was available via request even though it was listed as available with rental. Suggestion book for food and activities was helpful.

What a amazing house and manager.

We had a great time and couldn’t have asked for a better manager and house. The space in the house and the amenities were great. Meg was very helpful and prompt when needed.
