"Booked our international corporate partners to stay here and joined them for dinner. They were incredibly impressed! We also notified them of allergens a month in advance and they went above and beyond to accomodate for us given the menu changed that evening. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly from the moment I went to book the hotel to the moment we left after Dinner. The chef and kitchen staff make fantastic food and would highly reccomend eating here even if you choose not to stay. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. "

"Standard British pub experience. Worryingly poor on cleanliness and state of room (e.g. broken shelf in bathroom). Good mateess. Host unable to find room at first. Host did not respond to message on Expedia reserving table and nothing reserved. Dinner basic pub fayre. Breakfast forced to choose between toast or cereal or full English. Good range of beer but unable to advise on local gin. Pub well used by locals and good atmosphere. Lovely situation in centre of village. Quiet."
