"Lovely well-presented room in an ideal location in the old town. Cooking facilities were basic but comprehensive. Air-conditioning was much appreciated. "This property was outstanding, super clean and with air-con. It had everything you needed and in a fantastic position right by the harbour and one of the entrance’s to the walls (which is a must to-do whilst in Dubrovnik.) The check-in was great, we were given a key code but there was someone to greet us even though our flight was a little delayed and we were late to our accommodation. We would 100% recommend this property."

"The hotel is in a great location and the room was modern and spacious with a nice balcony and view. Breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were a bit less warm than we’re used to by US standards, but that may just be a cultural difference. The pool was a bit of a walk from the room, and since it’s shared with another hotel, it was hard to find a seat. We got there at 8 AM when it opened to secure chairs. On the plus side, our kids loved the kiddie pool."

They were a little bit dated, but the size of the rooms in the balcony and the amenities is more than made up for the rooms design being perhaps a decade old. "We stayed at Hotel Sumratin for five nights and had a fantastic experience. As a new hotel, everything is finished to a very high standard. The rooms, public areas and facilities were all spotless, and the attention to cleanliness throughout our stay was excellent. The service was consistently friendly and professional, and the hotel grounds and restaurants were beautifully maintained. The breakfast and dining options were of a high quality, and there are also plenty of great local restaurants right on the doorstep if you want to explore. The location is one of the hotel's biggest strengths. It's ideal if you want easy access to Dubrovnik's Old Town without having to stay in the middle of the crowds. You can enjoy the beautiful coastline and a much more relaxed atmosphere, while still being only a short journey from all the main attractions. There's also a supermarket just a couple of minutes' walk away, which is really convenient. The only minor criticism is the rooftop pool. While it's a lovely space with great views, it's quite small for a hotel of this standard and can feel a little limited during busier times. That said, it's a very minor point in what was otherwise an excellent stay. We couldn't really fault the hotel, and if we return to Dubrovnik, we'd happily stay here again or somewhere very close by. Highly recommended."
