Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
A bit pretentious
The hotel was beautiful but our room was quite small. Since it is in the middle of the country side, eating in the restaurant is almost obligatory and the food was very disappointing and terribly overpriced.
Stunning chateau with fantastic swimming pool. High point was the delicious dinner set under a huge chestnut tree The lighting was magical and the Covid measures impeccable. The tables were all full, socially distanced but still creating a good atmosphere The waiting staff were so professional and helpful.
Very beautiful property. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and very accommodating. We loved our room.

Amazing
The castle was a great choice and the staff treated you like royalty. The food was top notch. A must stay!!!
The Chateau is beautiful and the room are comfortable.
The staff is friendly but not on top of things like you would expect it. They don’t take your empty plate in a prompt manner and don’t ask if you need an other drink or desert (lunch time).
The one star Michelin was good but not the best. Really good with deserts and just so so with the rest. Again, good but not fantastic
Overall a good chateau to stay at.
Beautiful chateau situated near the edge of a wildlife forest/Park, not far from Lyon. I found a great deal online, and check-in was quick and smooth as I arrived late. Checkout was also smooth, but a bit rushed for my extended checkout time since they had an event and a full house. Breakfast was amazing, rooms are very clean and on the smaller side. The interior could use some renovations as the floors and staircases are creaky but not too noisy. Overall a lovely experience, I will return!
We couldn't fault anything about our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for staff, who really went out of their way to look after us. Superb food and surroundings.
Dinning room was beautiful and quality of food and service was excellent. Pillows were terrible. Room was nice but did not warrant the cost. However, we were paying for the atmosphere of a Chateau so we were still happy overall.
