Spa Hotels & Resorts in Borneo from AU$29

Clean, quiet frendly staff food was very good

This was our 2nd stay and it didn’t disappoint. Both times we have stayed 1 night as a stop over between flights. The service is excellent, friendly, helpful and welcoming. You get the feeling nothing would be too much trouble. We were also given a surprise upgrade this trip, which was very welcome for our family of 3. The room so cosy and lux. The bed is super soft and comfortable which is just what you need after a long day of travelling, and the bathroom is generous and modern with a large...

Great resort. Loved it and would happily return. Would Not choose rasa ria for wildlife (see it elsewhere) but a useful add on. Pools and food great

The Sultan of Brunei's brother, Prince Jefri, once owned the Empire Hotel and Country Club.Unfortunately Prince Jefri misappropriated 15 billion dollars of Government money and so the Sultan confiscated the palace and kicked Prince Jefri out of the country for 10 years and the Palace was turned into a 5* Hotel and Country Club. Spa very good. Staff very helpful. Better access to shuttle service between Hotel and National Park would improve the overall experience.

Staff are wonderful, concierge are obliging and adaptable, especially if your have odd flight times. This hotel makes you feel like you have arrived home with friendly faces, clean facilities, good food and many little extras.

I liked the proximity to the markets and waterfront nightlife precinct. Great view over the harbour. Good breakfast options

We did two stays at this hotel either side of a 5 day boat trip in Tanjung Puting. The rooms were great and the staff were excellent, particularly the waitresses in the restaurant who were super helpful. Was a great place to reposition before and after the jungle.

Spectacular island resort. Room / villa was amazing with the most wonderful shampoo / conditioner etc. Only two slight negatives - when i arrived my room was not ready and for 2 hours i sat in the heat without access to my luggage to get my swimmers for a refreshing dip in the pool. And the other was the food - after having been in KK experiencing the street food and my other hotel's food, the resort food was a little ordinary, particularly given the cost of in-resort food. it was bountiful but...
