Gelegen an der Bahnstrecke Neukieritzsch–Chemnitz, die Teil der Bahnverbindung zwischen Chemnitz und Leipzig ist. Fernzüge halten hier nicht. Auf der im Bild ersichtlichen Brücke wurde einst die zwischenzeitlich stillgelegte Bahnstrecke Küchwald–Obergrüna überführt.
