Ski trip

Hotel was perfect for our ski holiday. The location was great for access to the slopes and the town. Overall would highly recommend.

The property is nice. Check in was easy. Room were clean and everyday the room was cleaned with fresh towels. Really like that. what we didn't love was the staff at breakfast. They were not very friendly. Never did they smile and make you feel comfortable. We always felt like an inconvenience. They also have a great common space that could be used during the day and the evening to sit and relax but its always CLOSED. Such a shame to not be allow people to use this common area, instead the only place to relax after a day of site seeing is in your room where this is nowhere to sit except on a bed.

The accomodation is brilliant, a pleasure to stay there. The hosts are very friendly and polite, while the hotel itself is at less than a 5min walk from the ski area, which is amazing!

In pieno centro della cittadina di Bormio, é ben situato per raggiungere a piedi le piste, i sentieri. Ottimo il parcheggio riservato ai clienti. Personale squisito, cortese e molto disponibile ad ascoltare le richieste dei clienti. Struttura molto pulita, curata nei minimi dettagli.

Trevligt, välskött litet hotell

Väldigt trevligt litet hotell med toppenbra läge. Rummet vi hade var litet men rent och snyggt. Frukosten var bra men saknar variationen som finns på ett större hotell. Trevligt sällskapsrum med mysiga soffor och fina gamla allmogeföremål. Bra skidförvaringsrum. Parkering alldeles invid hotellet. Celso Sport rekommenderar vi för hyra av skidutrustning eller cyklar. De har också allt du kan behöva av skid- eller friluftskläder. De finns på andra sidan gångbron en kort promenad från hotellet, via Vallecetta 5. Vi rekommenderar också ett besök på något av Bormios helt fantastiska termal/spabad, t ex Bagni Nuovi, som är något utöver det vanliga.

très bel hôtel dans la super belle petite ville

nous avions choisi une chambre double sans balcon pour une nuit. bon j'aurais du prendre une chambre avec balcon, mais pas grave . la chambre très propre, et calme. petit déjeuner à partir de 8 h très varié et complet autant salé que sucré. parking fermé par une barrière gratuit est un plus. je conseille cet hébergement, car très central, à 2 ml de la rue piétonne marchande.

Very friendly proprietor with a nice room for bikes. Make sure to talk with him the night before if you need to get your bike out before 7am.

Ideale verblijfplaats voor fietsvakantie. Dichtbij centrum, goede opslagplaats (veilig!) voor de fietsen. Parkeerplaats voor de deur. Kleine opmerking : liever ontbijt mogelijk maken vanaf 7u. Op warme dagen kan je zo vroeger vertrekken.

Man sollte Punkt 8 beim Frühstück sein, ansonsten gibt’s nix mehr. Das Personal ist unaufmerksam und man hat das Gefühl nicht willkommen zu sein. Die Zimmerr sind ordentlich und sauber. Der Zimmerservice hält es aber nicht für nötig zu klopfen. Die Lage ist sehr zentral.

Excellent stay!

I had a perfect stay at this comfortable hotel. Everything is super clean and I had a spacious room with big windows overlooking the mountains. Breakfast is abundant and delicious and the owners are exceptional kind and helpful. Talk to Giovanni, the owner, if you need ski instructors or advice on any other activities, that he offers along with his son. He has great and interesting suggestions. GRAZIE MILLE da Elisa

Treated with utter contempt.

Upon arrival we were told, "You two couples are staying in another hotel down the road for two nights, it's not a problem". As a party of three couples, who had carefully selected this hotel for a five night skiing holiday, we were most upset. No kind of apology was forthcoming from the owners, we were simply told, "It's only for two nights, it's not a problem". The alternative accommodation was vastly inferior, and we refused to accept this. So, the two couples booked themselves into a suitable standard hotel, which was eventually paid for by the owners, after we had demanded compensation for the dreadful start to our holiday. Such a shame, since the hotel is lovely, and immaculately presented. The owners need to learn some manners.

Consigliatissimo!

Bellissimo soggiorno a Bormio in questo meublè, con stanze molto pulite, spaziose, colazione veramente ottima con biscotti e torte fatte in casa. Personale gentilissimo. Unico piccolo appunto: riscaldamento eccessivamente alto durante la notte.

Good hotel near centre of town

The hotel is well placed to explore Bormio and has dedicated parking outside which was very nice. The hotel seems to have been refurbished to a high standard as many of the fittings in the breakfast area seemed very new. The food for breakfast was excellent with a good selection of meats, cheese and pastries. The staff would also cook eggs to order if required. The room was a nice size and the bathroom area had modern fittings with a good powerful shower. The only thing that was a little odd was that although the windows had mesh net curtains, the material curtains did not close as they were only for show and about 30cm wide? This meant that the morning light came straight in to the room at sunrise. Also I would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee facilities in the room. Apart from that the stay was very pleasant and I would recommend it if staying in Bormio.

Great location with bike facilities

My wife and I stayed in early August of 2018 with cycling as our main reason to visit Bormio. The hotel is very accommodating, with an excellent location, close to the main walking area of Bormio, and an excellent bike storage room and tasty breakfast. Our room was neat and clean but faced a very busy alley which made it virtually impossible to keep our windows open at night and made the room uncomfortably warm during some unseasonably warm weather. It would have helped to have a fan for some circulation, but none was available. I expect rooms on the “quiet” side of the hotel would be great. The only other comment my wife and I would have is that while at times the staff was friendly and welcoming, there were some inconsistencies that could be improved upon. Overall, if we were able to guarantee a quieter room, we would stay again.
