"Great location, friendly staff, beautiful hotel and swimming pool; good food"

" When I say, IVGH did not disappoint.We were greeted with cool lavender towels for our face and hands, as well as local island fruit juice. The night receptionist and bell man were so helpful. The complementary continental morning breakfast had the nicest lite island vibe. I was a little disappointed I could not order dinner from the restaurant. Let me be clear, it's not anything they did, it just isn't open Sunday and Monday and we checked in Saturday night. The restaurant gets some amazing reviews and I wanted to try it. Other than that, only 5 stars here!!! The room was clean and cool, the customer service was second to none, the views of Saint Thomas were spectacular and the beds and bedding were sooooo comfortable. You must stay if you are planning a trip to St. Thomas. Please go on a night when the restaurant is open. You won't be disappointed."

"Clean room and great location! Most of the staff were very nice but a bit understaffed. Only thing we had trouble with was our shower. It was either really hot or cold. Food was excellent and loved the beach! "

"This small hotel was a gem!!! From the moment we arrived, we felt the welcoming and relaxed environment. Candy (and sweet Buddy the cat) got us all checked in. Our room was spotless, had a very islandy vibe and the BEST view. The morning coffee was a nice bonus as we started each day. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed the local deli/coffee shop for breakfast and The Frenchtown Bistro and Oceana for dinner. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip. "
