My guest house located 10 minutes from the hyper center is ideal for visiting Bordeaux with family, friends or solo.
This stone town house is comfortable and cozy suitable for accommodation from 1 to 5 people.
Located close to all services, the environment is calm and conducive to relaxation. The "stone bridge" Pont de pierre" and the tram station are 2 minutes away. The bridge crosses the Garonne and leads to the city center. It is suitable for pedestrians, bicycles and the tram.

The house comprises upstairs:
- 1 bedroom with a Queen Size bed,
- 1 bedroom with a double bed
- 1 bedroom with a single bed.
- 1 bathroom with double sinks, WC
1 bathroom with bathtub and 1 walk-in shower
 
The living room, dining room and kitchen are on the ground floor. The dining room opens onto a small courtyard with garden furniture.
The kitchen is fully equipped to organize your meals.

WiFi is free.

Bring nothing but your good humor !! Everything will be ready to receive you. The beds will be made upon arrival, the bathroom linen prepared.
A breakfast basket for the first night is offered.

On both sides of the Stone Bridge, there are tree-lined walks bordering the Garonne. At nightfall, you will be charmed by the panoramic view of historic monuments bathed in light.

The "Stalingrad" tram station is a 2-minutes walk away, the bike self-service is in front of the house. Take the opportunity to do mini cruises! the river shuttles between the two banks are 3 minutes away.
The SNCF station is 10 minutes by tram or bus No. 10.

Great location and space

The house has great sleeping space for up to 5 people, good location close to public transport. The house is well appointed and thr breakfast snacks were much appreciated. The bathroom had a great shower! Overall excellent!

Amazing time in Bordeaux at an absolutely fabulous house

Christine was an amazing host!! She welcomed us with an understanding of the city and everything we might need during our stay. The house was conveniently located a short walk from public transportation and allowed us to easily see the city of Bordeaux as well as a trip to the nearby wineries. The house was perfect for the 5 adults we had. I would highly recommend Christine’s house to everyone I know.

Two couples had a 2 night stay at this cute townhouse. Perfect location, a short walk across the bridge into town.Secure, locked and gated car park a few minutes away.Christine was extremely helpful with so much information on Bordeaux, where to eat, how to use the trams etc etc.Fully equipped including a breakfast basket and stocked cupboards with essentials like salt, pepper, coffee and tea.The bath, shower and toilet are all in the same room but there is a door between separating the toilet from the rest.We would highly recommend this property and Christine is a great host.

Absolutely Amazing place to stay

The whole house was so clean and tidy. Very spacious and Christine the host had all the necessities that we needed to make our stay so enjoyable.Christine is very generous to have coffee, tea, and toiletries available if we did need them.The best decision we made was to pick this as a place to explore the beautiful region of France.We will definitely be returning to stay longer as it was an amazing place to return to after sight seeing. Maison très confortable proche du centre

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison de Christine. Le logement est confortable, bien chauffé, il y a tout ce qu'il faut y compris qq douceurs et de quoi se faire un petit déjeuner.Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, et tout était très propre.Enfin, la maison est à qq mètres d'une station de tramway A, mais on peut aussi aller dans le centre à pieds.Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Die Wohnung ist für einen Aufenthalt in der Stadt sehr gut geeignet, da sie fußläufig aber sogar mit der Strassenbahn in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen ist. Christine ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, die ihren Gästen einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung ermöglicht.

Escapade à bordeaux

Superbe découverte de la magnifique ville de Bordeaux en famille. La maison est idealement située, très proche de la place Stalingrad ( ticket journee trajets illimités à 5e par personne : tramway,, bateau). Apres une journee de marche, retour à la Salamandre avec tt ce qu il faut pour passer une bonne soiree en famille. L emplacement est tellement bien qu on a meme pique nique un soir en y allant à pied ( juste traverser le pont de pierre) prés de la place de la bourse ( ds l herbe, vue garonne : trop bien). Un grd merci Christine pour toutes les infos à connaitre sur la ville et les incontournables.

Spacious and delightful townhouse barely off the beaten path

Our first impression of Christine, the owner, was that she was delightful (& welcoming and thorough). She gave us a tour of the townhouse and spent a good amount of time walking us through the map of Bordeaux and its many places of interest. Her place was even more delightful! We really enjoyed that this townhouse was quiet, close to the Stalingrad tram location, and the thought that was put into each detail of this place to make it warm and inviting (i.e. a chilled bottle of rosé in the frig). This was a great home base for exploring Bordeaux and its neighboring wine regions. We highly recommend this property!

Prima verblijf.

Over de oude voetgangers en OV brug in minder dan 10 minuut in de bruisende stad. Schoon en ruim met 4x4 patio waar je lekker in de schaduw kunt zitten. Zeer hartelijke ontvangst door frans en engels sprekende eigenaresse met informatie over huis en stad. Je moet wel even zorgen dat je de auto kwijt raakt in de buurt omdat betaald parkeren voor het huis duur is. Ruime slaapkamers, prima douche. Een klein nadeel van het huis is dat het toilet boven is. Wij hebben genoten van dit huis.

Nous avons séjourné 1 nuit dans cette maison de ville, elle est bien située et desservi par le tram, il y a tout ce qu’il faut (serviettes,drap, produits de première nécessité...) Propreté impeccable! Accueil très chaleureux par Christine, qui a su nous mettre à l’aise et nous a donné envie de revenir à Bordeaux pour mieux découvrir la ville. Petit déjeuner fourni pour la première nuit exceptionnel. Merci beaucoup.
