Terrific location, and yet quiet

The apartment was very nice, pleasant, airy, well-appointed. The location is ideal: Right in the heart of bustling area, steps from St. Catherine. And yet it was hidden away so that it was peaceful at night. (With the exception of one night that the person in the apartment above paced the floor all night.) I would definitely stay there again.

The only thing slightly inaccurate about this listing is how amazing it is. Wonderfully located, historic, rare, well-appointed and completely modestly represented via its listing. A complete beauty! And the only misgiving is that you might get lost in all the living space that it provides! Très bien fait. Super et formidable!

Amazing apartment

We have stayed in many apartments in Bordeaux, Paris, and other areas of France in the past 15 years. This is probably the nicest of all. The location is superb -- on a very quiet square between two major pedestrian streets, Rue Porte Dijeaux and Cours de l'Intendance. The apartment is extremely spacious, bright, and welcoming. Two large beds and a large dining table make it an ideal location to settle in. The kitchen is modern and extraordinarily large, with everything you need to cook dinners after shopping the Capucins or Chartrons markets. There are many shops and cafés within very short walking distance, and the tram line is only a block away. The downside for those with mobility issues is that it is located at the top of a long flight of stairs (old French buildings have high ceilings, so one flight is more like 1.5 to 2). All in all, we loved our stay there and would VERY gladly return.

Wonderful apartment and great location!

We loved our stay here and highly recommend. The apartment is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped. We were easily able to get around on foot and public transportation.

Nice roomy apartment. Great city center location. Car free zone. Most major venues within walking distance. Also close to trams. Need to make clear taxi or Uber can not directly access unit and may have to walk a couple of blocks with luggage.
