Welcome to Madeleine's in Bordeaux!

Nestled in the heart of Bordeaux this light and airy family apartment boasts 4 bedrooms (each with ensuite bathroom and toilet), a living room and a fully appointed kitchen.

The apartment can easily welcome a large family or four couples for an exquisite stay in formal french style. Covering a whole floor of the historic Hotel de la Madeleine this apartment will ensure your stay in Bordeaux is both comfortable and memorable.

The newly renovated light and airy luxury apartment is located on the second floor (two levels above ground) and covers the whole floor of the historic Hotel de la Madeleine in Bordeaux. It is built around a central corridor which serves six rooms / areas as follows:

- Living Room: on the right upon entering the apartment the living room is decorated in formal french style and can easily seat 6 people on comfortable sofas and armchairs. A 65 inch flat screen smart TV ensures entertainment and access to your favourite TV apps including complimentary Netflix. An adjacent toilet is attached to the living room.

- Kitchen area: the open-space kitchen area offers all the amenities of a fully equipped kitchen as well as breakfast nook for 3 or 4 people. Decorated the a classic french style the kitchen comes equipped with an oven-microwave, sink, fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, dryer as well as all requirements for cooking and dining.

- Bedroom 1, 2, 3 and 4: all four bedrooms are enclosed spaces and boast their own bathroom and toilet. The bedrooms are equipped with comfortable double beds, a cupboard, a full length mirror, a vanity table and chair. The bathrooms include shower and sink while the toilet is in a small enclosed room. Each room includes a heated towel rack. Each room has a large window and large private balcony overlooking Bordeaux city.

Additional items suitable for small children are available upon request (cot, baby chair, etc).

Guest can access the apartment via a private access lobby opened via security badge and ascend directly to the second floor (two floors above ground) where the same security badge gives guests access to the whole apartment. There are no other residents on the floor of the apartment.

The lobby also provides access to a room at ground level where guests can leave their bikes and empty their rubbish bags.

Guests are on holiday so Madeleine and her team will be happy to provide as little or as much interaction and advice as requested.

The apartment is located in the bustling centre of Bordeaux between the central "Cathédrale St André" (400 meters) and the "Place de la Victoire" (250 meters). Other local attractions include the "Grosse Cloche" (300 meters), the St Catherine Street (100 meters) which is billed as the longest pedestrian street in Europe, the "Musee d'Aquitaine" (100 meters), hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars, cafés and other amazing things to do. Madeleine's is centrally located in Bordeaux so everything is available within a short 1 to 10 minute walk.

Alternatively the tram takes guests to all parts of Bordeaux from the Bordeaux International Airport or the "Cite du Vin". Grab the tram at the two closest stops: Musee d'Aquitaine (B Tram) or Hotel de Ville (A Tram). You can buy a tram card at each stop with a credit card. TIP: get a 10 trip ticket and share with your friends as getting individual tickets is more expensive.

Taxi, Uber, bikes, scooters and the other usual methods of travel are of course available. If you are staying long and want a more active holiday consider renting a bike which you can keep in the room in the lobby.

Welcome arrivals are usually between 1 pm and 8 pm. Check-in after 8 pm is possible depending on schedule.

We ask that you respect the cleaning teams and leave the accommodation in a decent condition. In case of abuse, an additional fee may be requested.

Please note that a 480€ security deposit will be authorised (not debited) on the credit card used for the booking. This authorisation will be cancelled after checkout.

The apartment is located in the heart of the city. Bordeaux is a very dynamic and lively city. This place is not for you if you are looking for calm and tranquility.

The apartment is located on the second floor (two floors above ground) and does not have a lift as is usual in traditional Bordeaux buildings.
