The hotel was in the middle of a land dispute, so the entrance was a building site with armed guards and corrugated iron fencing. Access to the hotel was a dangerous dirt track. I fell and injured my wrist. We had requested twin beds in advance and were given doubles. They even failed to change them to twin beds when I asked on day 1. I had to book another room at further cost. The facilities were limited with no bar and the decor was very tired. Really did not enjoy staying there and feel I should not have had to pay full cost as the hotel was not as described.

My stay at Hotel Soffia was overall not bad because the staff were very friendly, especially the drivers for the shuttle service, they were always smiling and ready to help but when it comes to the overall property it was a bit disappointing because the room I booked was for 3 people and I expected to stay at atleast a bedroom with 2 beds but instead they gave me rolling bed that kept rolling when I moved and the bed was very uncomfortable to sleep in. I suffered from back pain for a bit. Let me just say that my parents and I are not small people and so I addressed my complaints to front desk and asked if they could give me a bigger room with 2 beds and the staff basically just replied “oh it’s how our rooms are” he said he could upgrade me if it’s still not up to my standards but they didn’t even really check my room to see if there’s anything they could help more since when I got back to my room the room was still dirty and no upkeep at all. I stayed there for 4 days and my room was never touched by housekeeping even once, I didn’t even really see a housekeeper roaming around the halls of the hotel so that’s a bit concerning because cleanliness is huge for me. When I first got there the rag for the washroom was soaking wet and I also told front desk and they didn’t really do anything. It was a waste of breath I probably wouldn’t stay here again, location is a bit far but the property is nice don’t get me wrong. Pool and garden area is beautiful. Such a shame

일부러 시내에서 숙박을 원하지 않아서 조금 멀리있는 호텔을 찾았어요. 정말 대만족이었습니다. 아침마다 근처에 닭들과 개들이 우는 소리에 깨는거 말고는 시내와 동떨어져있어서 조용하고 숙박하는 사람들도 많지 않아서 좋았어요. 특히 아시안들이 많이 없고 외국인들이 많아서 덜 관광지 같아서 좋았습니다. 조식은 기억이 잘 나지않지만 수영장은 작지도 크지도 않고 물도 깨끗했고 호텔도 전체적으로 깔끔하고 정리가 잘 되어있었어요. 엘레베이터는 없습니다. 유럽 시골의 있는 숙박시설 느낌입니다. 방은 아주 심플하며 깨끗했어요. 직원들도 서글서글 좋았습니다. 다음에 가도 또 묵을것 같아요. 추천!

Ein sehr lautes Hotel. Wir sind jeden Morgen um 6 wach geworden, da im Flur geschrien und sehr laut diskutiert wurde. Das Personal hat nichts dagegen gemacht. Die Zimmer müssten renoviert werden. Kühlschrank hat gestunken und generell war die Sauberkeit mangelhaft

Great boutique hotel in a quiet location

Lovely boutique hotel in the hills of Boracay. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and cable tv. The pool area is gorgeous for relaxing in. The staff are fantastic. Can’t do enough for you. My family and I had a great stay here for 5 days.

The hotel is very old . Old mattress and very noisy Air-conditioning. There are not cleaning the room properly and not changed the bedsheets for 4 days. The restaurant is just basic food and the Breakfast was only scrambled eggs and toast . No fruits or something like that. If I stay there again. No way.

Excellent accommodations...

We really enjoyed our stay. We had two rooms for 3 nights. At this time, there is a lot of construction going on in Boracay, and we were concerned on our initial trip from the jetty to the hotel, but were very happy when the van arrived, at the top of the hill, it was simply lovely with a beautiful view. There is a panoramic view of the ocean. The restatans pool area was lovely. The hotel staff greeted us with a shell necklace and a welcoming drink. The included breakfast was very good. The staff was excellent and very personable. WiFi was spotty but that’s not unique to that hotel. The free shuttle was very convenient to getting to shopping and the beach. When we arrived, our room air conditioner was not operating efficiently and the maintenance personnel replaced it in 10 minutes. I brought up not to complain about the AC (things happen), but to illustrate how customer/service oriented the staff is. When we return to Boracay, there is no doubt that we will return to this hotel.

Full-service hotel w/ high quality food

GF and I had a real nice stay at this hotel while in Boracay for a few days. It's away from the main hub of D'Mall (about 15 min away) on the island, but there are free shuttles every hour, or can hop on a trike for $3. In a quiet location, other than those crazy roosters that seem to inhabit every island in the country and start hollering at 4am haha. Staff was extremely friendly and eager to make guests comfortable, fairly typical in the service-oriented Philippines. Loved the free breakfast, and their kitchen made good food for any meal, and very affordable. Room clean, and didn't have ants like many other hotels in the country. Very affordable room rates, esp. considering Boracay probably the most expensive area of Philippines. Only issues were that the AC was not very powerful and took a while to cool the room. Also, we used their laundry service and were charged an egregious amount in our opinion, nearly as much as we paid for 3 nights at the hotel! Overall recommend though.

저는 이 호텔을 세번 째 방문했습니다. 직장인이다 보니 겨율철 휴식을 위한 장소로 사용하고 있습니다. 사실 제주도가 제일 좋은 데 겨울이라 추워서 매년 겨울 따뜻하고 가성비 좋은 보라카이를 찾습니다. 그런데 최근 주변 난개발로 닭소리가 많이 들리고, 디몰까지 셔틀이동시간도 두 배 이상 늘어나서 아쉽네요.

Had a lovely stay at the Soffia, we extended our stay because it was so comfortable and easy to stay there. All staff were friendly and professional and the service was extremely good! The pool area is lovely, as are the sea views from the room and corridors. The shuttle is also very handy.

眺めの良い静かなホテル

宿泊した部屋は離れの部屋でしたが隣接した部屋がないのでとても静かでした。シャワーの水圧はあまり強くなかったですが最低限は確保されていました レストランからの眺めが良く晴れていると最高のロケーションだと思います ただ部屋からの登りがきつかった！ 従業員は明るくとても親切、なんでも対応してくれました！

ホテルの施設は最高でしたが、シャトルバスが遅れトライスクルで帰るしかなかった時が多々あった。またリムジンバスのホテル名を探すのに苦労した。一掃のこと緑色のリムジンバスとか分かりやすくして欲しい。

Terrible bed and poor wifi

The beds here are so old there is no spring left in the springs ,Linen was old and smelly and was bitten by bed mites the first night , was promised a different room because of the mites , but then they diding have one equlivant , they had bettter empty but was required to pay difference, so simply moved to a better cheaper hotel much closer to city area This hotel has a lot of potential but it's very poorly managed

번화가의 소음에 질려서 택한 한적한 위치의 호텔입니다. 예상대로 주위는 매우 조용했습니다. 하지만 오래된 에에컨 소음과 방안의 비상조명등의 소음이 메인로드의 소음과 맏먹는 효과를 가져왔습니다. 룸에 커피포트나 헤어드라이어는 구비되어 있지 않았고 유료 와이파이를 4일동안 쓰기위해 체크인시 200페소를 지불했으나 체크아웃시 지불되지 않았다며 재지급을 요구당했습니다. 영수증이 있냐며 따지는데 받질 못했으니 당연히 없었죠. 결국 200페소를 다시 지불해야 했습니다. 마찮가지로 영수증은 주지 않더군요.이건 호텔 문제는 아니지만 위치가 디몰에서 멀리 떨어진 언덕쪽에 있어서 트라이시클을 이용해서 돌아오곤 했는데 기사에 따라 언덕이 높다며 호텔 까지 가지 않고 메인로드에 내려주는 일도 있었습니다. 이런 저런 이유로 다시 선택할 일은 없을것 같습니다.

Good hotel at its price with a mini infinity pool

The hotel is located at a quiet place away from the buzz. Its a bit difficult to reach but the hotel has good shuttle service every hour which makes up for it. The infinity pool has a good view but the pool is not as clean as it should be. Hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Overall nice experience.
